A Great Subaru Dealership in Maine 12/23/2013

My close friend recommended the Patriot Subaru dealership as soon as I told her that I was interested in purchasing a Subaru. I bought a Forester in NJ while I was home for a few days. I was sorry that I didn't buy it at Patriot. I did take it to Patriot for its first service visit. I was so impressed with their service. I was in a near fatal car accident last week and returned to Patriot so that I could buy another Subaru since the car saved my life. Each salesperson was so interested in how I was after they saw the damage to my car. Lonny, the sales manager found a car in his inventory which matched my original car. I picked it up a week after my car was totaled. Everyone at Patriot was so conscientious and helpful. I look forward to having a long relationship with this Subaru dealership. In fact, I expect that my husband will purchase or lease a Subaru within the next six months and it will be from Patriot Subaru. Vinny who handled my purchase was very helpful and patient when reviewing all of the aspects of the dashboard. more

Respectful, Helpful & Genuine 12/23/2013

When I decided to trade in my car, Consumer Reports rated the Subaru Outback at the top. I filled out an online form for Subaru dealers, and looked in Maine and N.H. I actually visited a dealer closer to home, but ended up choosing to drive twice the distance based on the quality of my experience with this dealer. The entire team that worked with me at Patriot Subaru: Jackie Parker, Doug Johnson, Mark O'Leary, Bob Bartnick and Ashley McPherson were all extremely helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with from first inquiry to the evening I picked up my new car. Although I started out looking at preowned cars, I not only chose a new Outback, but I also purchased their Maintenance package - despite living a distance away- because I know I will enjoy going to Patriot Subaru to have my car serviced, and can trust them with my business. It was a great experience all around, I highly recommend the team at Patriot's. more

Bought 2014 Forester 12/20/13 12/23/2013

Had a very good buying experience at Patriot. I did use TrueCar.com for pricing but Patriot took more off that price. Patriot also has the most inventory of Foresters compared to other dealerships. Jim Connelly was my salesman. Very good personable guy. Very competitive financing. I took a star off due to some confusion with the promised financing rate by sales and what the finance department was going to give me. But it all got worked out and I got a very very good rate. more

Good outcome for 2 difficult situations- Above & Beyond 12/19/2013

Am member of "tires for life" program. Wanted to upgrade my tires for winter. Patriot negotiated a fair deal with me even though my tires were not worn out yet. When I left Patriot Subaru my Forrester "died" 1 mile from the shop. It was NO fault of there's that my alternator died on a 100,000 mile car. Patriot sent out a rescue van, the service manager and a mechanic immediately to help me at no charge. Patriot got my car back into the shop and replaced my worn-out alternator as fast as possible. while I waited. excellent damage control for a problem they could not have anticipated. P.S. I live 1.5 hours away from Patriot and pass 3 Subaru dealers on my way to Patriot. I am so impressed with these guys that I will only go there for service or purchases of another Subaru. more

Everyone at Patriot Subaru is so knowledgeable and friendly. The service was efficient, but I didn't even mind waiting because of the comfortable waiting area with wifi, coffee, TV. Great experience from start to finish, and I feel confident driving my Forester on wintry roads knowing it was serviced by Patriot Subaru. more
