Pasteur Pharmacy

This pharmacy must have recently changed hands, because I have never experienced such outright rudeness from the pharmacy staff that occurs every time I interact with them. There is NO concern for the customer (I don't know what the first reviewer is talking about -- perhaps he's a relative!). If you call with a question about a prescription, the response is a rude: ""NAME?"" Not, ""Yes I'll be happy to help you with that, what is your last name, please?"" Why would I -- the customer -- expect courtesy? In addition to their indifferent attitude, the attire of the staff is absolutely abominable, unprofessional, and downright offensive (tight, low-cut jeans with flesh pouring over the waistband, dirty fingernails, dirty hair, tee shirts with highly offensive slogans). The people here are very accodating, and they go out of their way to order stuffs that they don't carry just to please the customer. They have a personal touch. They treat you not like a customer but like a friend. Sometimes, I just drop by the pharmacy to say hi eventhough I don't need anything. I am so please with the service and the prices are just right. If you buy in bulk, you get extra discount. What more can I ask for? Pros: Efficient and fast service more

This pharmacy is horrible. I called asking one question and the rude counter people couldn't be bothered. The owner actually told me that he doesn't have time for customer service. He's too busy. I've been a customer for five years -- trying to support the individually owned pharmacy -- not Duane Reade -- but after today, it's over. Cons: RUDE SERVICE ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. more
