Favorite Orthodontist 12/18/2006

I have to say, I finally found the perfect orthodontist in Dr. Stoess-Allen, I have taken my kids to a couple of orthodontists in the NYC area. A friend of mind referred me to Park Avenue Orthodontics, she told me that both of her kids are in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen and she is really happy there. I had such a good feeling about the Doctor from the moment I met her and the staff. I was very impressed by the complimentary consultation and full set of records. Dr. Stoess-Allen is wonderful with my children and I really feel extremely comfortable with the treatment plans that were decided for them. The office is very relaxing and beautiful, the staff is very accomodating. Calm & Peaceful Office 12/13/2006

Dr. Stoess-Allen's office is one-of-a-kind, it doesn't have the feel of a doctor's office, (more like a spa) the staff is very warm friendly and inviting from the minute you walk in the door. When I met Dr. Stoess-Allen I was blown away by her charisma. She has such a nurturing way about her, and my daughter felt completly comfortable right away. I felt Dr. Stoess-Allen really took her time with us, we didn't feel rushed and she explained everything so we clearly understood it. I love the fact that the Consultation and Records were complimentary!!!! You don't find that in NYC. First Class Experience 12/12/2006

As a mom of 3 kids I feel extremely comfortable with my children receiving treatment at Park Avenue Orthodontics. I transfered to Dr. Stoess-Allen from another orthodontist in the neighborhood because I was dissatisfied with the treatment and service I received there. I am so glad I was referred to her by a family friend. I truly am amazed about how well Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff operate her office. It is a very accomodating office regarding scheduling, late hours, after school appointments and finances. Dr. Stoess-Allen is a brilliant, comforting doctor who is a true professional in her field. The best Dr's office experience 12/8/2006

I was refered to Dr. Stoess-Allen by my massage therapist because of intense headachs and neck pain I had been experencing. I was greeted immedately by the staff and offered coffee. I was worked up with complimentary photos and digital x-rays (which I was given copies of all in a neat folder with all that the Dr. talked to me about). Dr. Stoess-Allen explained to me that the discomfort I had been experiencing was related to TMD. She explained in great detail about this disfunction and answered all my questions so that I could understand. I wasn't sure how I felt about getting braces at 25, but she showed me pictures of patients with clear braces and I feel so much better. This was the best experience I have ever had in any Dr's office. Pros: Thumbs UP more

Great NYC Orthodontist 12/7/2006

I went to Dr. Stoess-Allen to correct some crowding issues and a gap between my front teeth, I definitely wanted to do Invisalign. However, Dr. Stoess-Allen completley changed my mind about wearing braces. I am now wearing ceramic(Clear) braces and its amazing how you really can't see them. I already see the changes in my teeth so quickly, I will only have to wear them for 12 months. The staff treated me so well, and they are all extremely knowledgable. THANK YOU DR. Best Orthodontist 12/5/2006

Dr. Stoess-Allen has such a comforting way with children, She really devoted so much time to answering all my questions that my husband and I were bombarding her with regarding our son's orthodontic treatment. We didn't feel rushed, like so many other offices. My family has extreme confidence in Dr. Stoess-Allen. Her staff is very impressive as well. I will be sending alot of friends to this practice. Dr. Stoess-Allen is incredible 12/5/2006

I had braces on as an adult for 18 months, I just finished treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen and I am so happy with my smile. Its truly amazing how much the technology has changed since I was a teenager wearing braces. Dr. Stoess-Allen's office was a great experience for me, and I highly recommend her to any adults who need orthodontic treatment. Pros: The Perfect Smile! more

Amazing Orthodontist 12/3/2006

My twin boys are currently in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen and I am extremely happy with the Doctor. Most importantly my children are extremely comfortable with Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff. Of course, they enjoy coming to play video games as well! It is a charming office. I highly recommend this practice. Pros: 2 Thumbs Up!!!! more

Dr.Stoess-Allen and her office doesn't miss a thing. Extremely Intelligent, warm & caring Doctor. She was wonderful with my children and she took the time to explain the treatment plans for my children so they understood. The staff is very friendly and caring. It is a very well run office. Great Orthodontic Experience 11/30/2006

Thanks to Dr. Stoess-Allen my smile is amazing. She is a true professional and I never dreaded going to my appointments. Dr. Stoess-Allen made my experience with having to wear braces at 35 an amazing decision. Thanks to her I have a healthy and beautiful smile. Best Orthodontic I have been to 11/29/2006

I was given the names of two orthodontics for consultations for my son. Dr. Stoess-Allen was my 2nd opinion and I have to say I automatically knew as soon as I walked into the office and was greeted by her staff that this was the place for my son. Once I met Dr. Stoess-Allen I knew that my son was going to be in great hands. Dr. Stoess-Allen gave me a clear explanation of my son's treatment plan and she answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed and she I feel she is extremely knowledgable in her field. Very comforting Doctor!!!! I know when my son is finished with treatment, I am going to have her fix my very crowded teeth!!! I feel so lucky to have met her!!! First Class Experience 11/19/2006

As a 35 year old adult I was definitely apprehensive about wearing braces. I had some crowding issues and I really wanted my smile to be perfect. I wasn't a candidate for invisalign, because the crowding was to severe. Dr. Stoess-Allen recommended ceramic braces, I have to say I was pleasantly suprised with how quick and effective my teeth moved and you could hardly see the braces. I felt so comfortable with Dr. Stoess-Allen, she is so optimistic and extremely gentle and caring. Loved the Staff as well!!! Pros: Fantastic Doctor more

Best Orthodontist Who Treats TMJ Problems 11/17/2006

I have been in chronic pain since my early 20's, (severe headaches, jaw pain, popping and clicking of my jaw, locking of my jaw and ear ringing)and I have gone to several doctors who just dismissed my concerns. I was referred to Dr. Stoess-Allen through a friend who suffers from TMJ, and she told me that Dr. Stoess-Allen completly changed her life and she is now symptom free. I have to say I was hesitant about wearing braces as an adult, but I am so happy I made the right decision. Wonder Experience 11/14/2006

I have to say I have brought my son to 2 other orthodontists in the neighborhood and when I met Dr. Stoess-Allen I was immediatly comfortable with her. I really felt she took the time to answer all my questions about my son's treatment plan. She is very intelligent, comforting and wonderful with children. I am so glad I was referred to her. This is the Best Kept Secret on the Upper East Side. I was very impressed with Dr. Stoess-Allen and her Staff. It is an extremely comfortable, beautiful and friendly environment. I felt this ""boutique-like"" practice was a breath of fresh air compared to the other local ""factory-like"" orthodontic practices in the city. more
