Best Orthodontist and Best Staff in NYC 7/6/2007

My pediatric dentist referred me to Dr. Stoess-Allen and told me that she sends all of her patients to her. It was the best referral I have gotten to any doctors office. Dr. Stoess-Allen is wonderful with children and communicating with the parents on the treatment plans, she is always on time, very accomodating when it comes to scheduling appointments which is crucial when you have kids who are involved in every activity. The staff is very warm and inviting and always available. It is a very classy, upscale office, without the attitudes, its very rare to find this customer service in NYC. I highly recommend Park Avenue Orthodontics to everyone!!!!!! Pros: Thumbs Up!!!!!!!!! more

I can see why Dr. Stoess-Allen comes highly recommended 6/12/2007

Dr. Stoess-Allen really made me feel so comfortable about having braces as adult. Its amazing how much techonology has changed since I was younger, my treatment time is going to only be 10-12 months and the braces that I am wearing are crystal clear and are very small and comfortable. Only Orthodontist in nyc who specializes in TMJ 5/21/2007

I had some doubts about the treatment for TMJ problems but I have completely changed my mind now. After having braces for only 14 months, all of my symptoms are gone. No more headaches, no more back and neck pain, no more tension in my face. I was skeptical at first but the proof's in the pudding. I now live a pain-free life after treatment and I couldn't be happier with the results. Anyone suffering from TMJ problems has to go here and get it checked out. more

Best Doctor For TMJ Pain in New York City 5/8/2007

I have been having severe TMJ pain for years, and I couldn't receive any answers from any of my doctors as to why this is happened, I finally came across a dentist who specializes in TMJ and he gave me an appliance that helped me relieve my symptoms temporarily, (popping clicking, facial pain, headaches, and shoulder and back pain). This dentist said I needed to go to an orthodontist who specializes in TMJ, who would position my teeth to wear the appliance is that my dentist made me so eventually I wouldn't have to wear this appliance forever. I finally got referred to Dr. Stoess-Allen, and what seemed like such a confusing process turned into such a an amazing change thanks to all the treatment planning, and Dr. Stoess-Allen explaining and showing pictures of exactly how the process works. I just finished treatment and I am so happy and pain free. I am so grateful for everything that these doctors did to help me. What a great team of specialists I had. Best in Town 4/24/2007

I wanted to get my teeth fixed for such a long time, I finally got a great referral for Dr. Stoess-Allen, I was dead set on not getting braces on my teeth, I really wanted Invisalign, When I came to my appointment and I saw the pictures of my teeth. Dr. Stoess-Allen told me, she would never do Invisalign on a case like mine, and that if I did it would be a huge disservice to me. I really appreciated her honesty, she told me about these new braces on the market called Damon Brackets (which she said is wonderful) which will shorten your treatment time and are aestically pleasing. I will only have to wear braces for 9 months!! I am so happy!! and I feel really comfortable with Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff is so much fun and caring. I really couldn't be any happier! Dr. Stoess-Allen is the Best Orthodontist in NYC 4/12/2007

My experience with Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff has been nothing but exceptional. I have never been to an office that really treats their patients with the highest of individual attention. It made it so much easier as an Adult to wear braces. I actually really enjoyed coming to my appointments because I felt like i was really doing something good for myself. Having a beautiful smile is really important to me, and I can't believe how amazing my smile looks. I am getting married in June, and I can't thank Dr. Stoess-Allen enough for such a beautiful job she has done! I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Dr. Stoess-Allen. Smartest Decision I've Ever Made 3/20/2007

After years at another practice, I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Stoess-Allen, and I can honestly say that it was the smartest decision I've ever made. My daughter had been in treatment for five years with another doctor, and I was very unhappy with the progress and treament plan she was on. After our initial meeting with the doctor, I knew I was in the right hands. She explained very thoroughly her course of action and a specific timeline for my daughter's treatment. We were even able to start the same day! The staff was incredible too. If you're looking for a genuine and caring ambiance for either yourself or your child I would highly recommend Park Avenue Orthodontics. Pros: Everything was perfect, Doctor, Staff, Office. more

I love my smile 3/8/2007

I was referred to Dr. Stoess-Allen by my general dentist. I have been suffering from TMJ for so many years. My jaw was locking, and clicking, and I had horrible headaches that really made living with these symptoms extremely difficult. My dentist told me that I had to go see this amazing orthodontist who actually specializes in TMJ. I couldn't believe that this was possible. When I went for a complimentary exam, I was given so much information about TMJ! But to hear that she can actually make the symptoms go away gave me such a sense of relief. Now that I just finished treatment after 16 months. I am symptom free!\r VERY VERY HAPPY!! Pros: Everything in the office is perfect more

If you need Orthodontic Treatment, You must come to Dr. Stoess-Allen 3/1/2007

I had braces when I was younger, for a couple of years, my teeth have shifted and changed alot as I got older. As an adult male, I really didnt want to have braces on my teeth again. However, I knew it was getting worse and I needed to take care of it. I was given a couple of different treatment options. I am extremely happy with the way everything is going, I can already see so many siginifcant changes. 12 months out of my life to have the ""perfect bite"" and smile is so worth it!!! Wonderful Practice 2/21/2007

My daughter is in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen and is so happy and actually looks forward to her appointments, it helps that she gets served hot chocolate everytime she comes in. I am very impressed with the Doctor and her staff. It is such a plesant environment and it doesn't have that ""factory"" feeling. We are taken care of extremely well and I have never had this experience in a doctors office. Dr. Stoess-Allen has a wonderful reputation and I can see why!!! Highly Recommended Orthodontist 2/15/2007

I have to say this is one of the best Doctor's office experience I have ever had. I was greeted by a warm and extremely friendly staff. My appointment was right on time. When I met Dr. Stoess-Allen I was completly comfortable with her right away. I felt she is so genuine and so up to date with the latest technology in orthodontics, I was truly amazed at how far Orthodontics has come from when I was younger. My treatment plan was explained to me in terms that I can understand, they have great financial plans! and I was pleasantly surpised that my exam and records were complimentary to me. Very Classy!!!! Best Orthodontist 2/6/2007

I am currenty in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen, I am getting married in fall of 2007 and I really wanted my teeth to be perfect for my wedding, I was thinking I could do Invisalign, but I had such severe crowding and my top teeth were almost completly covering my bottom teeth. Dr. Stoess-Allen told me that Invisalign isn't great for fixing bites and correcting such severe crowding. She told me I wouldn't be happy with the results, and she was very honest about what would be the best situation for me. I am wearing ceramic (clear) braces and its amazing how fast my teeth are changing already. I just want to thank Dr. Stoess-Allen for her honesty, its hard to find a doctor who is so caring and such a perfectionist. I am really happy I made this decision. Thank you!!!! Incredible Doctor 2/2/2007

Dr. Stoess-Allen treats several of my son's friends from his school. I was finally ready to bring him for an orthodontic consultation, I was told by many people that I must come see Dr. Stoess-Allen and of course I did and I fell in love with her and her office. She is amazing with children, her treatment plan for my son made me feel completly comfortable. I love coming to her office, I always run into someone I know there. I came across Dr. Stoess-Allen through a colleague of mine, I heard she specializes in TMJ, After having a complimentary exam with the doctor, I was blown away with the knowledge that she gave me about the reason I have been suffering for so many years. I just started my son in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen, I have to say that it has been a wonderful experience, I was referred to her office by several friends who have kids in treatment with her. I know how hard it is to find a doctor that you feel extremely comfortable, but with Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff you can rest assured you will be in the best possible hands. Best Orthodontist By Far!!!! 1/16/2007

My daughter and I just started treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen and we couldn't be happier. I heard about Dr. Stoess-Allen from City Search, I have been suffering from TMJ problems for years and I finally found a Doctor who specializes in this condition. I didn't realize that because of my poor orthodontics as a child (extraction of 4 permanent teeth) and the way my bite is now, is the reason I have so much pain in my jaw, (popping and clicking, headaches, facial pain, etc) Although I don't love the idea of braces now, technology has certainly come along way I am wearing ceramic braces (clear) and you can hardly see them. Seeing how wonderful Dr. Stoess-Allen is along with her very friendly and knowledgable staff I had to bring my daughter in for a consultation because she was in need for orthodontics and I didn't want her to have the same problems as me when she got older! I Love my Invisalign 1/8/2007

I had slight crowding and a little bit of an overbite. I had orthodontic treatment when I was younger and never wore my retainers. Dr. Stoess-Allen told me that the crowding will get worse If I didn't address it. That day of my complimentary exam and records. I decided I was going to do Invisalign, they took my impressions that day and I received my first set in 4 weeks. I have to say its truly amazing how my teeth have already moved. I am so happy. Dr. Stoess-Allen is a great orthodontist and her staff is very friendly and extremely accomodating. I love her office as well, its beautiful. I have recommended her to all my friends. 100% Satisfaction with my Orthodontist 1/3/2007

I have two twin boys in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen. We just started about 3 months ago. I have to say I have never seen an office that flows so efficiently and so smoothly. We never have to wait for our appointments, Dr. Stoess-Allen always explains the procedure that she is going to be doing on my children. The office always schedules my twins together to make it easier for me, it is very accomodating, and I can make all my appointments after school. We are always greeted with smiles by the staff. We love coming to see Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff, can't say the same for most doctor's offices. I have already told a ton of parents at my son's private school about Dr. Stoess-Allen. Very Highly Recommended 12/21/2006

I just started my 10 yr daughter in treatment with Dr. Stoess-Allen. I had been at a previous Dentist/Orthodontist and was unhappy with the way her treatment was going. Having met Dr. Stoess-Allen through my Dentist I wish I had started with her in the beginning. She pointed things out to me on my daughter's x-ray that was overlooked by her other dentist. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Stoess-Allen, I am so confident in her work and most of all her ability to fix someone else's huge mistake. I know my daughter is in the best of hands. Best Orthodontist 12/20/2006

I want to thank Dr. Stoess-Allen for giving me such a beautiful smile. I had orthodontics when I was 9 yrs old and I had developed some crowding and shifting of my teeth. I wore ceramic braces for 12 months, and my teeth look amazing!!! I love smiling now! I really wanted invisalign, but I had to much crowding, Dr. Stoess-Allen definitely pointed me in the right direction. I am so happy I listened to her. I love her personality as well, she really made me feel so comfortable and always explained what she was going to do. The office is gorgeous and the staff is very warm and friendly.
