What a lovely personable and TALENTED stylist! He takes his time (even when I'm rushing)... massages my scalp, recommends necessary (and speedy) conditioning treatments, and cuts and styles me perfectly. I inevitably leave much better aesthetically and emotionally, than when I arrived! Additionally, just the right amount of fun conversation! lol. more

Visiting New Orleans and needed some color. I love Aveda and go to an Aveda salon in Massachusetts. I was happy with my service but disappointed in the appearance of the Salon. Dirty, stained floor. Stained cabinets, sloppy looking overall. Not up to Aveda standards! more

Every time I go to this location something happens. Yesterday I was quoted $55.00 for a 30 minute facial. At the register they requested I pay $ 70.00. The technician ran an hour late getting to me, and the last time I visited they ran late for my 2:00 hour long facial and then had booked an hour in between my requested hour long massage. I left without the massage. more

I had an appointment set and I was driving in from Houma. I ended up being 20 min late to which I called multiple times to say I was running late and when I got there they wouldn't take me. I was furious because I drove over an hour to get there. I won't be returning to this location. more

Lucia, Nicole, and Melissa are all extraordinarily talented and nice. When there was a mistake on my appointment and I was not on the schedule for waxing, Lucia went above and beyond all expectation and insisted on staying late to do my waxing after my hair appointment. It was extremely kind of her and very much appreciated. Nicole, Melissa, and Lucia are all wonderfully talented and kind people. I imagine that Paris Parker is so pleased to have such a fabulous group of people at Canal Place. more

I've been a long-time Paris Parker fan. I started seeing Nicole (Hopper) Klein at the Prytania location in 2000. For four years, I drove from the Lake Charles area to New Orleans just to get my hair done by Nicole. After she left PP to focus on motherhood, I went to Chris Guidry at Prytania, who is an absolute genius. I also loved Chris as a personality and as a artist --he is beyond gifted and fun. In the last year, however, I grew my hair out, and stopped my regualr six-week "do" cuts. I now love my hair long. Recently, I needed a quick trim stat for an important meeting. I didn't have the time to head uptown for a cut (I live in the French Quarter), nor did I think I'd find success in requesting a last minute haircut with Chris. So...I went to newbie Jason Ashford at the Canal Place location and LOVED him. He was great. I was in disbelief when I heard that my haircut was only $25. Jason was a dream personality and artist. I love the fact that I can trust whomever I get when I call ANY Paris Parker location. For now, however, I'm going to stick with Jason --the convenience of Canal Place and the $25 price are far too good to pass up. --Ellen Ieyoub more

It was my first time getting my hair cut by Jason, and it's the first cut in a while where he has done exactly what I like (despite my in ability to express it), and I had a wonderful experience! He knew my budget was tight so he kept things in my price range, and he was just awesome! Really comfortable and fun to be arond! And I look forward to going back to see him in a couple of weeks.
