Kings Dominion 4/7/2006

For a great day trip in Virginia, this is the place to go. Regardless of the ages of your children, there is something here for everyone. They have a special area designed just for the younger ones. For the older children and adults, there are rides here that offer great thrills. The roller coasters are the BEST. One of the nicest things about this park is that it is a theme park and water park all in one. more

Thrilling experience ! 9/10/2005

The rides were amazing and the place is clean and tidy. They have rides and attractions for Kids, Live shows, Family rides, Thrill rides and water park. As a whole it was a teriffic experience. The drop zone stunt tower largest drop in north america was an adventure which no one should miss. The Berserker which swings back and forth and stays on the top for some seconds was awesome. And there is so much to enjoy. Never miss the 275 foot high Eiffel tower replica. It has got a stupendous view of the surrounding area. more

Fun amusement park for all ages 8/26/2005

Paramounts Kings Dominion offers alot to do for the whole family. The theme park and the water park are both offered in one day admission. The water park has alot to do for toddlers and preschoolers as well as older kids and adults. They have a wave pool and many water slides. The park has alot of fast coasters as well as a kiddie area with alot of kiddie rides. There is not a separate entrance for the water park. You have to walk through the amusement park to get to the water park. They offer great prices on season passes. more

Great park 8/17/2005

This is one great amusement park! I would say this is more of a Water Park than a regular one but it still has plenty of non-wet rides. You will have lots of fun at this place, guaranteed! They have lockers for you to rent to put your clothes if you do want to venture out to the water rides. They also have arcades with lots of games to play with. You can play video game arcades or the ones that disburses tickets for prizes. They have this fake Effel Tower that visiters can go up to. Once you are up, you have an awesome view of the park and the beautiful Virginia landscape. Come early because you will end up staying a really long time. more

Excellent 8/13/2005

This is another wonderful theme park. They have great rides and entertainment. Admission is not too bad, and neither are the food prices. The park is beautifully landscaped and offers a lot to do for kids and adults alike. They do a great job of running a theme park here and it is definitely worth the trip to VA to visit it. more

Have fun and more fun! 8/4/2005

Kings Dominion is an amusement park that is a staple in the area between Richmond and Washington DC. It’s been around for a long time. Like most amusement parks, it is costly, from admission prices to prices to buy even a drink while there. But it has some good rides, with fun roller coasters, more sedate rides for the kids, and shows to entertain all. more

Good for the area 8/4/2005

King's Dominion is a great theme park for those who have never been to anything better. I think it's wonderful for people to have a great time on rides. However, coming from Orlando, I find it hard to compare it to places like Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure. The rollercoasters at King's Dominion are so rough and bumpy. They give me a headache because they are so rough. I do enjoy the events they have there, including Deaf Awareness Day and the Christian concert's that they occasionally have there. They do a great job at sponsoring those type of events. Kudos to you for doing that. more

King's Dominion with two under two 8/1/2005

I love visiting King's Dominion with my 8 month old and almost two year old. They love riding around taking in all of the action, and spending the afternoon in Lil' Barefoot Beach in WaterWorks. There are areas where the water is only 6 inches deep, with a deeper area with a play structure for toddlers just feet away. I can stay with the baby while keeping the toddler practically within arm's reach, which is a necessity with two under two! The toddler structure has plenty of squirting water and toys, and it even has a slide like the big kids' pool. The slide is engineered perfectly where it's just long enough and the water is just deep enough to keep them from getting hurt, but shallow enough that they can immediately sit up without getting frightened by being under water. Unless the adults in the family are amusement park enthusiasts with time to visit, the family pass isn't a great value with two small children. It's a nice addition to our Summer calendar, but if the passes hadn't been gifts we never would have gotten them. more
