Coming from Boston and knowing some good italian food, I have to say this place has some of the best I've had in a long time. I am a big fan of chicken and steaks too, and the chicken scarpa is out of this world. My husband has the filet mignon and said it was tender like butter and cooked to perfection. A+ this is one of the few good restaurants you have to go to during the track season in Saratoga Springs after the races. It's def one of the hot spots among big horse owners and trainers who know good food from traveling the world. Pros: Chicken Scarpa and Fettucini Proscuito Cons: sometimes there's a wait more

thank god this place re-opened 7/21/2006

I come up for every track season and being from queens I know good Italian food. The owner used to run a famous Italian restaurant down in queens, Don Peppes, and if you know Don Peppes you know you can't get better italian food anywhere else. Paradisos is just as good if not better. The baked clams are heaven and the pasta is always perfect. Im a pretty big man, and the portions are more than enough at this place. The owners make you feel welcomed like you at at their house, real old fashioned ya know. Try the shrimp oreganatos, unbelievable. the wait staff is friendly and helpful if you've never been. The prices are reasonable too. Pros: baked clames, shrimp oreganto Cons: sometimes there's a wait during track season more

This place has the most authentic Italian I've had since my mother's cooking! 7/18/2006

This gem isn't that hard to find if you're not from Saratoga Springs like myself. All you need to do is go North on Broadway(the main road in the city) or you could actually walk from the race track if you're a track goer like myself(about a 15 minute walk). It's also near the Lincoln Bath House and Saratoga National Park entrance! Pros: THE FOOD Cons: Nothing more
