Papas Pizza

Ok, So i've done a few reviews of this place. It has, I think, gone down hill. I went to a birthday party here last week on a Monday. We got there and they had a place set up for us, which was nice. It took them an hour to get our pizzas done. It never takes this long to make 2 pizzas and i've been to partys here on weekends where it didn't take that long. Then when they brought the pizzas out, the pizza hadn't been cut all the way. We had to go get a knife just so we could separate the pizza slices from each other. Than not even 5 minutes after bringing the pizza, they tried to bring out the ice cream. Hello, can we please eat the dinner part first. I was also disappointed in the fact that they bring out these tiny cups for the ice cream, you know those types you got in school when you were little with the little wooden spoons. Then after it was all done and we were getting ready to leave, one of the kids wanted a refill of the little soda that they give you. They said no, there are no refills. 1 kid wanted a refill and I could have sworn you were allowed to get refills before. Well anyways they do have good pizza but there customer service seems to be going down. I know I will not have my kids birthday partys here. more

I have to say that I love this place and the pizza's they make. I do have one issue with this pizza place thoe. When you order a pizza for delivery, they ask for your credit card numbers if thats how your paying. When they get here, you sing the slip and then add a tip if you like. What you don't realize is happening is that they ran your credit card when you gave them the numbers, and then rerun it again with the tip added. So instead of paying say $30.00 for pizza, your basically having $60.00 held on your checking acct. The first amount is of course not deducted from your acct but is basically frozen for a certain amount of days. For some, this may not be a problem because they have the extra $30.00 that can be held, but when you have only like $40.00 in your acct or stuff pending and then see that your overdrawn because of the extra pending charge, it can be frustrating. I understand why they run the card before they deliver the pizza, but they should tell the customer when they are adding a tip to the amount that there will be two charges and that one will be credited back eventually. So my advice would be to either tip in cash, or ask them to add the tip when your ordering the pizza to avoid this problem. more

Papas Pizza is not for the faint of heart. A large pizza house with many rooms including a bar and kids playroom, it is almost like a castle’s maze. Quite a few birthdays and school groups gather hear and even with the variety of spaces to tuck your self into, the noise level is consistently high. The place is well known for its playroom, but be wary. There is a large structure with tunnels where kids can wander out of side for hours. Depending on the group monitors… the playroom can become quickly out of hand. Keep a close eye on your loved ones. The pizza is average… tasty, but greasy. I doubt most customers’ visit for the pizza, mostly as a way to wear the kids out before bed! more
