Read the last review and thought to myself, "that place can't be that bad." I want to get started in HO railroading and went there to buy!I I walked in the door on a Monday around 11:30 AM, there were a couple of people in the store. No one said hello. No one said can I help you? That's fine, I'll just look around for a while figuring that they'll catch up to me. After a half hour of wandering around I settled in by the books trying in vain to get some type of info on Beginning Railroading. I glanced through some books in front of the counter for another half hour thoroughly confusing myself and then walked out the door. I've never been treated so poorly in any type of independent business, I mean totally ignored for an hour. Apparently the business is doing so well that they are no longer accepting any new customers. Oh well, there are other train shops in Houston that will take my money. Papa Ben's doesn't seem to interested in making any sales!
