WATCH OUT!!!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR CHARGES!!!!! I loved this vet. For over two years they provided wonderful service to my animals. I can no longer say this. My past visits I have been over charged significantly. Quoted one thing on the phone only to show up and pay another. Then, when debating the charges with an employee, the head doctor of the facilty, came out in a very unprofessional manner to join the debate. To top it off, my pet and I can no longer return because we were upset when disputing the charges. This vet is great to new pets but they'll try to overcharge once you've been a long standing loyal customer. WATCH OUT!!!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR CHARGES!!!!! more

Excellent care and service 7/24/2010

Our furkids have been seeing the doctors at Palm Glen for over 8 years and have been very happy with care and treatment provided to our Bostons and Rotties.\r Staff is kind and caring, the clinic is clean and the doctors all follow Federal and State laws regarding providing Rx to the kids.\r Vets just as human doctors must follow general accepted medical practics and must see a patient prior to providing medication. more

Paradise Valley Prices 7/21/2010

All I can say is call even a few vets and compare their prices for the exact same services. You WON'T BELIEVE HOW HIGH PALM GLEN'S PRICES ARE for vet care! Sure, their care is good but how can anyone justify 2X and even 3X the price for the same services at other renowned vets in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley...anywhere, really. more

PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND CARING STAFF 3/1/2009

We have been using Palm Glen for the past five years and have been very pleased with each visit. Both doctors and supporting staff are very caring and professional at all times.\r Our two Bostons and two Rotties have always been treated with respect for all types of services, including breeding, tail docking, minor surgeries, routine visits and immunizations, and emergency services.\r The clinic is very clean and the evening and Saturday hours have allowed our family to have visits that work around our work day.\r As with any service or physician you get what you pay for! This is not a discount clinic, but the exta dollars are worth the peace of mind I have knowing that my furkids are being treated by the best of doctors and staff. Pros: Both vets have advanced education and work with all types of pets Cons: Front office staff in the past have been slow more

Dr. Svaboda and Dr. Aamann are GREAT Vets 11/1/2008

Whenever I need to have a vet check out one of my guinea pigs, he is definitely the one I go to. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and quite informative. Dr. Aamann was the first one to notice that my doggie had an under active thyroid and took care of my piggies when they had mites.\r \r The office staff does need to communicate with customers a bit more especially when it comes to medication refills. If a pet is having blood work done, DON'T fill the med first. Overall, a great place to take your pet. more

Will be going elsewhere for grooming & boarding 4/21/2008

My dog was on the receiving end of one of their ""top"" groomers. Needless to say, he won't be going back there. A week later and he is still healing from serious razor burns to the underbelly and leg area, plus he was nicked by an overzealous razor. When he was picked up, we were not informed of his injuries. more

This is a great vet office and reccommend it highly 4/21/2008

I really like this office. The only exception is that it takes FOREVER to check in and check out your animal. Either their computers are extremely slow, or the computer software is extremely user unfriendly, or lastly the users are not trained on how to use the system. The worst case I had was when I was checking my dogs in for boarding (no vet appointment) It took over 40 minutes to get them checked in - time that gets annoying when one is scheduled to be at the airport . Otherwise, I like the staff and the vets. They are professional and really have the best interests for care for your animal. Just be aware that getting checked into the system and getting checked out may take some time and allow that extra amount of time if you need to be somewhere else - its slow. Thanks! Pros: Professional staff and vets Cons: Takes alot of time to check in and check out more

Out for the money 1/9/2008

My puppy has been sick for the past 5 days. I called at 9:00 a.m. to see if I could get a refill on the pills she was given the last time she had this problem. I told them I didn't want to take her in for an office visit as I'm on a fixed income and can't affort it. I was told they could give me a refill and asked when I would be in. I told them I could be in at 11:30 which they said was fine. On my arrival (at 11:30) I was told the pills were being made up. A few minutes later the receptionist came in to inform me that the doctor could not rewew the prescription as the puppy hadn't been seen in 6 months. I informed her that Shadow was in for the same problem August 23rd, which would make it 41/2 months, not 6 months. Well it made no difference, the vet still wanted to see her. Why? So they could get $55 for the office visit. They will not see Shadow or me again. more
