I had the worst customer service experience I've ever had with any retailer. I HIGHLY recommend against you shopping here. I was appalled by the response to my problem with an expensive couch I purchased there.\r
\r
I had a problem with a spring making noise with the couch. Almost 2 months after submitting the issue, the couch was initially taken away to be repaired as it was within warranty. When I asked what was fixed, they responded, ""(details details details) we are unable to access the center cross board but we have not noticed the same amount of noise coming from this area so maybe this piece of wood is is not sticking up into the seating area as much as the side boards are. This seems to be stopping the clunk noise as far as we can tell.""\r
\r
Basically, they did not know what the problem was. Sure enough, it came back within a couple months. When I reported back, I got the worse straight arm ever, finishing with ""I have this same sofa in my home, and I have sold it many times...I have never had this problem.""\r
\r
Can you imagine if the Toyota dealer said that to you regarding your brakes? \r
\r
I contacted the manufacturer who was very nice and willing to explore the problem with me. They requested some information Pacific Heights had. After multiple attempts to get the information, I sent the following...\r
\r
""So you are saying that you refuse to provide me original receipt and the acknowledgment number even if I come by in person to get it?""\r
\r
Victoria's response, ""David...there is nothing further I can help you with.""\r
\r
My $8000 couch that is 2 years old continues to have a squeaky spring. Thanks for nothing Pacific Heights Place.\r
\r
My recommendation... STAY AWAY.
