Great food! 11/11/2011

I did not know where to stay when i arrived to Miami and i knew that my friend was not in his house! I did not have much money with me and i did not know the city..so, i did not have other option than looking for a cheap hotel near the beach, and in that research, i found this hotel in Miami that more than a hotel, it represented a complete experience for me! I could have different services and a wonderful suite where i slept as a baby and i could eat great food! more

It was excellent! 11/10/2011

The day i decided to book in this hotel in Miami, I was thinking about my comfort and my family more

I recommend it 11/3/2011

I stayed at the Clifton hotel two months ago and after that time there, I really have to accept that I miss this hotel in Miami! I miss the assistance and friendly treatment when I went to other hotels in the same city! The design and the use of green materials make it original and a special place to relax and have good holidays or a good business trip! I recommend it more

The staff is also friendly and very helpful! 11/2/2011

When i heard that the Clifton hotel is a green hotel, i thought that it was going to be very uncomfortable for me and prices were going to be ridiculous.., .but i was 100% wrong! This hotel is comfortable, cheap and great! There is nothing to miss and a lot of things to enjoy! I think it is unique! The staff is also friendly and very helpful! I will never change this hotel for other one! more

Ten stars! 10/28/2011

An environmentally friendly hotel in Miami like the Clifton is something that it is difficult to find! I say it because most hotels are consumption oriented but the Clifton hotel is green and perfectly organized to give people a good option when having holidays. i was there and i mused about many things, about the environment and i enjoyed a lot of all details to take into account in my own house. Ten stars! more

Ecological surprises 10/26/2011

I was at the clifton hotel last month for five days and after my experience there, i have to say that i admire the staff that works there because they were always attentive and willing to help. I never saw them demotivated to do their job.. and that's something that i really admire because i like to be in a place where i can be really served..and in this hotel in Miami full of ecological surprises, i could never complain about their services! I want to go there again! more

Important ecological message! 10/24/2011

i have never been in a hotel in Miami like this one where i could have more than what i expected! I enjoyed many good things that i wish i could repeat again and again! The clifton hotel is the only one that can mix good prices with good style and an important ecological message! I admire the owner! more

The Clifton hotel is a wonderful hotel in Miami 10/19/2011

The Clifton hotel is a clear idea of what i had looked for on my holidays and i got it by causality, because i was walking near the beach and i saw a friend passing by, i ran to talk to him and after our conversation, i looked back and i felt curious about this hotel in Miami. So, i came in and when i saw that furniture made of ecological materials, i realized that i was not in a common hotel, i had to know more. Therefore, i booked there and i did not make a mistake! The Clifton hotel is a wonderful hotel in Miami and YES, i recommend it! more

I really liked it! 10/18/2011

If a hotel like this one were bigger, i am sure that many people would like to be there for more than weeks because that natural atmosphere people stay is the best place to be on holidays. I stayed there and i can't deny that i fell in love with the ecological tools and furniture that i could have and enjoy! This hotel is like a pattern to follow! more

Ecological and excellent hotel 10/13/2011

This is a ecological and excellent hotel in Miami! I had a really great time there with my family and two friends and any of us could complain because we always had someone from that great staff that was taking care of our things and interests. They guided us to find the best places to have parties and rest more and more. I wanted to leave this review here 'cause it's a worthwhile to let people know the great time they can have there! more

Awful on so many levels! Stay away from Hotel Shelley 10/12/2011

Doing my part in helping others avoid this place! Warning, this place does the BAIT AND SWITCH on you. We chose this place for the ""free"" shuttle to the airport, but they called 1 hour before our flight and said, ""the shuttle broke down""...so we have to pay for a taxi ourselves. No offer or apologies or anything from anyone. Make sure to call to get your own taxi cause you don't want the one they will get you. I learned this from a past experience. Another overcharge that I don't ever want to pay again. We also chose two beds in our reservation, but when we got there, the desk person told us two beds was only a 'preference' and that we would have to pay an additional $40 per room for the extra bed that we signed up for. wth??? The rooms were soooo small and barely had any light. One room smelled horrible and the other room's a/c barely worked. Imagine giving a dilapidated hotel a nice paint job and that's what you're getting here. Key cards worked on the tenth swipe. You could hear neighbors talking and doors being slammed all the time. Oh yeah, I was sleeping in the bed and the door just opens up and then closes....I have no idea who it was. After reading the post about the burglary here, maybe I was staying in the same room and thankfully I was in the room at the time. If you want ice, you will have to cross the street to the Chesterfeld hotel. If you want beach towels, you will have to walk across to the Chesterfield. They didn't even make any offer to get it for you. Oh yeah, the tv in the room had 12 channels I believe. The bar downstairs charged $24 for 3 coronas and gratuity was automatically included. Bartender was friendly, but way overpriced!!! Staff comes and go, but the ones we dealt with had terrible customer service. We couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. I hope this review helps others! more
