Great Food plus Mr. Dlimpio (Sp) 9/10/2011

My first time to Pf Chang's I had no high expecatations I was hungry and in a bit of a rush. My mother was on borrowed time and I wanted to get back to her. Well of course there was a wait, I was on my way out . when I was stoped by i assume it was the manager Mr D limpio (SP) anyways he engaged me in conversation told what was going on . He found me seat I had a great meal and excellent service. For a chain resturant they gave you first class service with stlye. I'm Home now and life is back to normal, I will make ita point to visit my local PF Chan's more

My favorite chain for fusion eats 4/16/2010

I love PF Chang's. Yes, it's a chain with nothing too out of the ordinary on the menu, but I'm definitely not one of those super snooty foodies who only goes/appreciates authentic local restaurants. My favorite, which the staff always recommends and everyone seems to always have on their tables, is the lettuce wrap appetizer. For the entrees I love the double pan-fried noodles and the crispy honey chicken. There's always so much too choose from though and I've tried about half of the menu to know that pretty much everything is really delicious! Also, like I mention in the ""Pros"" section, the Asian Pear Mojito is my absolute favorite drink on the menu. It's also one of the only mojitos I actally like (I'm not a fan of mint drinks at all, but the Asian pear is deliciously subtle on the mint and stronger on the citrus side). Also, the Park Plaza location is great but there's also a PF Chang's in the Prudential and at the Northshore mall if you're looking (they're all equally great to me). Pros: good food for a chain restaurant, best Asian pear mojito! Cons: nothing really too out of the ordinary more

Great place to take your parents 3/11/2010

PF Chang's is a family favorite when my parents come in to Boston for a visit! We always get the lettuce wraps, and ask to mix the signature sauce a bit spicier than normal. If you're here with little money in your pocket, the fried rice is less than $9 and there's always extras to take home. The sake is yummy, and cocktails in general are also pretty good. Pros: Quality food, great service, delicious sake Cons: Pricey for what you get more

Awesome restaurant with a nice ambience! 3/13/2009

I am suprised with some of the other reviews. This is a great restaurant with great food. The waitstaff is very well trained. The food is very well priced. Pros: The food Cons: Waiting for a table/but you can always sit at the bar more

Don't waste your time or money 3/2/2009

P.F. Changs is what I would consider Chinese fast food. We ordered the VIP DUCK, which had no flavor and seemed VERY TENDER which is a sign that they used PROCESSED DUCK, which is ground up, compressed, then putting the skin back on. The lettuce wraps had nothing traditional with Chinese. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce didn""t even come close to being the traditional MANDARIN DISH. What? vinegar at the table? what for? The only two dishes that were traditional and flavorful was the SHRIMP DUMPLINGS & the WONTON SOUP. P.F. Changs is also overpriced. Stick to China Town or your favorite local takeout. Pros: decent wonton soup & Dumplings Cons: non-traditional, low quality meats, overpriced more

Highly recommended for Take Out 9/12/2008

I have to admit, I have never sat down at this restaurant. I always do ""Take Out"". That being said, it's hard not to miss the crowds waiting for a table. So if you go, plan to wait for a table during peak times. Pros: Food Cons: Wait for a Table, Parking, No Valet more

Great food! 8/26/2008

I love this place! Living in Boston, its hard to find a great place to grab take out without hurting your wallet...(unless you want a pizza or salad) Changs is a great value and the food is consistantly good. Their lettuce wraps are to die for and if you like chicken, beef or seafood of any kind - you are sure to find a dish to satisfy...I love grabbing take out from here because the portions are good size...order a few different dishes and share...you will love it! Great if you are having friends over! Pros: Great food, great prices Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a while to sit...bar area gets crowded quickly! more

don't have to pay that kind of price for chinese food 4/12/2008

went there few times mainly for after-work drinks, which are great. love the pear mojito to start off the summer. food... not too impressed since i'm asian. feel that some items (ex. potstickers) are just over-priced food that sometimes come with a fancier plate or presentation. service varies, as they're always sooo busy. Pros: great outdoor seating Cons: need canopy (sun's in our eyes!); crowded at peak times more

Terrific chinese restaurant with nice atmosphere 12/9/2007

I cant believe some of the other reviews. This a great restaurant. I know chinese food...we have some Pros: Great chinese food. Well trained waitstaff. Nice ambience Cons: Often crowded with a noise factor more

Great Customer Service 11/6/2007

I took my sisters and mother here for a special girls night out prior to a show. FANTASTIC customer service. We called because we were late for our reservation and they were very understanding and were able to seat us within 10 minutes of our arrival. Our waitress was friendly and extremely competent. The food was excellent. The lettuce rolls were recommended by several people, and now I know why...yum-o! The wine selection was great and the mixed drinks were not weak. I will be going back soon with my husband, I know he will love it as much as I did! Pros: Great service, great food. Cons: Bathrooms were not that clean. more

Worst chinese food in Boise, Idaho 10/22/2007

This is the worst chinise ""hot and sour Soup"" I ever had. Beef with broccli was very strong with soey sause - not good atall. The fried rice was too oily and loaded with leftover stuff, such as beef steak and etc. My observation, no chinese worker and no chinese clientel in the Boise, Idaho restautrant. Service good. There is no need to make a mix of Vinegar, musterd,... at the table. For good chinese food the cook knows best about the taste. The dish must be prepared to taste the best. Pros: good environment Cons: not a typical chinese food more

My favorite restaurant 10/19/2007

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Perfect from appetizer to dessert. Ever since I ate here I can't eat chinese food anywhere else (especially the fried food cantonese places) more

Good for dinner before a show 9/10/2007

I am a little surprised at the large amount of negative reviews.....Sounds like most of the issues are service related and not so much food related. more

Worse than Chinese take-out 8/26/2007

This place had horrible food. I believe that they are trying to make chinese cuisine fancy by changing some key ingredients in traditional chinese dishes. For example, their duck sauce tasted like honey. We wasted 50 bucks for three dishes. We went out elsewhere after. Not recommended. If you want good chinese food, just stick with the quick take- out restaurants. Pros: Quick service Cons: price, taste, management was rude more

Chinese Fast Food 8/17/2007

I am definitely not a fan of the style restaurant that is barely half a step above the fast food restaurant business (ie. Applebee's, Cheesecake Factory, etc.) and P.F. Chang's is just another to add to the list. After waiting 90 minutes for a table for two (we ended up eating at 10.30pm), we had flighty waitress who continued to forget what we had ordered, requests for drinks, etc. When we finally were able to eat, it was like something I could buy in the frozen foods aisle at Shaw's. Everything was fried (which, in authentic Asian cuisine, is rarely done), oily and overly processed. I can't deny that the prices were good and some of the flavors were great, but the food in general didn't seem at all fresh. Pros: Good for groups, good value, good meal sizes. Cons: Noisy, overly-processed food, long wait for table and average service. more

Typical Chinese 6/9/2007

While I agree that this place is great for a chain restaurant, there are much more authentic options out there for Chinese food. Spend some time and look around for better options--I promise you, they're out there. Pros: The food and service are reliable Cons: Can find food like this anywhere more
