Overhead Door Co Of Auburn/Syracuse

We have worked with Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse a number of times in the past, but we called them again recently to repair our garage door and they came and fixed it. We weren't even at home at the time but the fellow came and made the repairs and left. We have no problem with the company at all and trust them to do this type of work. I actually saw him driving down the road while I was on my way home, so there was no personal contact on this occasion, but the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I would do business with them again, no problem. more

I recently used the services from Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse to have the garage door at my home repaired and was very pleased with how well the work from them went. The people who came out to do the repairs were very knowledgeable about the work that was being done and were very friendly and professional while they were here. Recently, I had a problem with my garage door. It was making a lot of rattling noise as it went up, so I decided to call Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse and the company was able to help fix the issue. I have used them in the past, which is why I called them over again. I thought that the staff was absolutely wonderful and the young man who came out (he was new to the company) was very good and understanding. I was impressed with his professionalism and that he was able to get everything working in good order. I have been exclusively using Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse for a while now for repairs and general maintenance of our garage door. Most recently our door was locked in a very different angle that it was supposed to be in so we called them up and they were able to come out the next day to check things out. The technician that came out didn't take much time at all, he knew exactly what was going on and completed the job in less than an hour. He was very friendly and provided us with tips to avoid issues like that again. Their prices are great and I really trust the service they provide. Overall very positive experience. more

I have been doing business with Overhead Door Company for almost 50 years and have always had an excellent experience. The employees are always on time to an appointment, conduct business in a professional manner, and are very pleasant to work with. The technicians are very knowledgeable and know their stuff. They think outside the box to solve any problems that may arise. The office is very responsive to my calls and everyone there is very friendly. I appreciate how easy it is to set up an appointment and would highly recommend them. We had very good service with Overhead Door Company. As a matter of fact, I wrote them a thank you note on the payment I just sent back to them. They were very prompt in coming and fixing the door and very courteous. They were replacing one of the springs. I think the pricing was fair. They were upfront with us about what it would cost and we thought it was reasonable. more

I called this company June 2017 for my garage door that was broken . They came out spent 5 minutes looking at the door and said they could not fix it . They claimed the door was the old style and nobody could repair them anymore . They would get back to me on a quote to convert it to there companies door/ style . Seriously my house was built in 2004 . How old could it be . I can bring my car in to any garage and they can order a part and fix it no matter the make year or model . My last home was built in the 1950s the door broke called a local repair man . Guess what he fixed it no problem . I would give negative stars if I could . Now I owe this company a charge to come look at the door to tell me they don't have the knowledge to fix It . To tell me a door that was installed 13 years ago can't be repaired is bull $@!#% . Yes technology changes things update but a company that can't fix a 13 year old door is garbage . Seriously unless you want to be bullied into buying there brand of everything do not call this company . On top of it when I called the company not once did they ask the year of the house or anything related to how old it was . If you can't fix anything older than 13 years why don't you ask that during the initial service call . Typical bait and switch . more

Overhead Door Company was quick to get here and they did what needed to be done pretty efficiently. They took care of the work properly and without any problems. I have a three-car garage and one of the wires that holds the spring broke. So they replaced that and then they looked at the other strings to check them out and ended up replacing one of them too. I'm very satisfied. It's expensive but it works. more

Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse is great! We have been using them for sometime now, and have had them out for various repairs over the years. They immediately answer their phone, and they always get someone out to help us right away! This last visit, the door was not closing all the way, and they fixed it. We have a very old garage door, and have begun to "baby" it so we can use it as long as we possibly can. Double car new doors are very expensive, and I'm on kid #4 in college so we have absolutely utilized Overhead Door. When there is an issue, we call them because they understand and they help prolong the life of the garage door. They are very reasonable priced, but with that quality... It's a huge value! They are trustworthy as well. We have left an access door unlocked for them and they always remember to lock it! Overall, I am happy to review and rate them 5 out of 5 stars, and I would recommend them very highly! more

They are skilled and knowledgeable which means top quality work! They work so efficiently with their time that it's also an economical value. Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse did a good job. The process was great because he came and fixed on of the cables. He put a new one. I had to leave before he was finished so I showed him how to lock up. He did it perfectly. The appointment was easy to schedule and it worked out fine. more

The spring had broken in our garage door and the guys over at Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse definitely saved the day. Since the spring had broken, our car was essentially trapped in our garage because there is no way to open the door without that spring's assistance. These guys were very quick to respond to our call and got someone out to our home in a very short amount of time. They got the problem fixed in no time at all and liberated our car. He got right to work on the door and showed that he was really competent with how efficient he did his work. He explained to me what he was doing and why and he was just really pleasant to be around. I mean, sometimes you can't tell from what you see on the internet or what the sales person tells you to what you end up getting, but in this case, everything was fine and the quality of it was very high. What I really liked about the guy that came to my home from Overhead Door Company of Auburn/Syracuse was that he really went the extra mile. I originally needed him to replace some rubber that had broken off on the bottom of the door and was starting to rust. He did that but he also noticed some little things that could cause big problems so he took care of those for me at no extra charge. I had some questions and he answered them well, as well as letting me know some things he noticed that could be a future problem. It was a small job but he did an overall assessment of my door and gave me information without pressure. It was just an all around good experience. When I need that future work done I will definitely be giving these guys a call! more

I'm very pleased with the repairs that Overhead Door Company made on my garage door. They installed a new motor and a shaft going down because something broke, so they assessed the problem and made the repairs. We've used them in the past and it's always been a pleasant experience.
