Comfortable, Friendly & Delicious 10/8/2006

Great casually elegant Pacific Heights restaurant without the "attitude". We're hooked on the Artichoke Bottoms w/Shrimp & the "very tender" Calamari Steak sautéed in Lemon Butter...Yum Yum! more

Magic Tricks! 9/23/2005

The best [srt about this place is not hte gnoccki, it's that the owner comes to your table and does a dissappearing chocolate spot trick to the female guests! Well not to me and I'm a female. I say im do it to another table and I think I am going o keep going b ack unitll hee shows it to me. i am a sucker for magic. more

Best Gnocchi in the City 8/11/2005

Osteria is the perfect neighborhood restaurant. The staff warmly greets each guest who comes in the door - not necessarily the typical response in Pacific Heights. The food is consistently delicious - great for the prices. The gnocchi, however, is the best part - its PERFECT consistency makes you wonder why it's so hard to make! Try the spinach salad, too - crushed peanuts, yum! more
