Sadly, I have had a similar problem with this Orkin Branch. You call, the woman says the technician will call you back to schedule an appointment and they never call you back. My time is precious, someone can't call me back within an appropriate time or make an appointment when I call, I don't need to do business with. I also had another problem with pushy salesmen. I had a tick problem last Fall, which took three yard sprays over a two month period to get rid of the ticks. They came out took care of the problem thankfully. Then a month after the third spray a technician called us to schedule a yard spray, I told him we just had the yard sprayed three times in the last three months at this point and that we spray the yard quarterly. He said well but you are due, I told him but we just sprayed it a month ago. He obviously didn't understand this as he called back several times the next two weeks. I know sales a big part of their technicians job, but when someone crosses the line of being annoying that is another thing. I really don't recommend using this branch. more

I live near Downtown Miami area code 33137 and has been using Orkin for a year. During this year, the crew was on time for 3 times only. They don't call if they don't show up. I always need to call to the branch to ask why the crew didn't showed up. The answers has always been the same: ""They should call you. I already left a voice message for the technician."" HOWEVER, the technician still doesn't show up. I have to call back two or three times to make an appointment. What a wasting time! Will definitely stop using Orkin. more

We used this company to have our house tented years ago. Each year we pay them to renew the termite coverage. For the past several years we have been calling them upon finding termite droppings in various places both inside and out side the home. Each time they opted to spot treat the problem saying that would take care of it. Now we have had t have expensive repairs to replace wood in the eaves and roof due to long and extensive damage by the wood termites we have been complaining about. When you read their contract that you renew, you will find it states they are not responsible for any damage done by termites. It is difficult to impossible to get them to commit to tenting the house when you just have the annual warranty. They will all readily agree to tent your house if the find any evidence of termites on an initial visit when you are paying for the whole thing. Be aware. Read ALL the contract BEFORE you sign to see what you are getting. more

This company has experienced workers that know how to give detailed info. on prices and pest control procedures. I explained that I had small dogs and babies and he told me about the chemicals they used and explained how they were harmless. The prices were reasonable and I felt very comfortable with this company and their services. They solved my ant problem without harming my pets or children. more
