My wife and I recently began looking to replace a ten year old mattress which is still good but getting old. We made the mistake of dropping into the Original Mattress Factory store. All the salesperson could do is talk about how bad their competition; specifically Sealy and Simmons were. They had the mattresses torn apart from some of thier competitors. The sales guy went on and on about how everything was terrible about the other guys. When I asked about some brands I had researched online, all he could do was tell me how awful they were. His attitude was arrogant and he was anything but informative. They don't have much selection there and all the mattresses have to be flipped. My wife and I aren't about to flip a King matt. I didn't think anyone made a flip mattress anymore. When I told the salesperson that he became even more rude and dismissive. He said we didn't have to flip it if we didn't want to but then it wouldn't last as long. Even worse nothing in the store was even remotely as comfy as our old mattress at home. Their beds all seemed very low-end and not much of a bargain. My wife checked the tag when we went home and it's a Simmons. That was the brand the salesman told us was so weak. This business really left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife who is very easy going said she was totally disgusted. She used to sell Avon and told me she never found the need to put down her competitors because the products sell themselves. This whole ""Made it Ourselves"" Mattress Factory seems like a big scam. It's a wonder they don't get sued by their competitors for defamation. We'll keep looking elsewhere. We suggest you do the same. Lesson learned!!!
