This restaurant is a breathe of fresh air! The flatbreds are to die for, everything that I had was phenomenal. The cavatelli with avocado was one of the best things I have had in quite sometime. I am a big fan of Chef/Owner John LaFemina. We always enjoy dining at his other two restaurants Peasant and aPizz. The design of the Orchard is masterly done to create a warm and inviting ambience. Lighting is dimmed and soft but not dark. Tables are spaced nicely to give you room to have a private conversation. Servers are helpful without disturbing. Flatbreads are a must to start with. We tried the Steak Tartar with Parmigiano Romano and it was delicious. As appetizers we enjoyed the Drunken Goat Cheese Salad and Lobster Empanadas. We were amazed by the tasty Lamb Tenderloin and Rib Eye Steak for main course. Food certainly has a Mediterranean influence. Overall The Orchard is our new favorite restaurant in the Lower East Side and it looks like it will stay our favorite for a long while. For now BYO wine until they receive their Liquor License. I love coming here for a cocktail with friends. The long bar or the couches in back near the dj offer the opportunity to listen to music or enjoy a drink and catch up. more

This bar has to be one of my favs. The rotating and resident DJs are always great. Bartenders and bouncers are genuinely nice. The drinks are cheap and good. The DJ's, management and bartenders at this venue rock! Friendly atmosphere and a fun place to go with friends keep it spanking fun every week. Wherever we go out we usually end up here at the end of the night. Guaranteed dope tunes on Saturdays. more

Being fair, I did grab a drink from the very friendly Bartender on a very dead monday night. So i'm sure, like any place else in the city, it was deader than a morgue...decent decor, decent gin and tonic, but wine isn't even served in a wine glass so there is that bit of ghetto tenor permeating in the organic glow of a pretty nice atmosphere. The seating is limited and the place is kind of cramped, but I'd come back to examine on a more energetic evening. Pros: dark organic decor more

For such a small place, the decor makes it beautiful and romantic. The red furniture really warms this place up. I personally like the lounge atmosphere and the djs this bar features. more
