After deciding to replace all my windows and one patio door, I called many local window businesses to get quotes. One stop was competitive in pricing and helped get me good quality windows for a reasonable price. The salesman who helped was friendly and patiently answered all my questions (because I had A LOT of them and no knowledge about windows or doors). Not only that, but they did a very good job of installing the windows and patio door! I couldn't have asked for better quality. So happy!! more

I have just searched One Stop Windows and Doors and was led to their spectacular new site. However, if you are not purchasing for a multimillion dollar home, just forget it. You can do better.\r Unless of course after years of leaks and damage to your wall covering and carpet, you do not become incensed when you find out that One Stop's poor installation is responsible for the frustration and damages and they refuse to talk about compensation after multi calls, letters and emails. Just as another complainant, the installation, as shown by their own water test, was flawed. No flashing and neglected to install a pan beneath the slider which caused water entry below the track. Good luck if you do not have an architect to blame. f more

i purchased a home in the south bay and got a few quotes from several different companies to replace my windows and one stop was able to provide me with plenty of pricing, they were really no help in assisting me with my installation and my choices.. they seem to be the type of company that pretty much takes orders and thats about it, i was referred to them by a friend who purchased windows and had their own contractor do the work. \r finally when i realized that one stop was really no help i got a hold of the contractor that put my friends windows in and it turns out that he was a pella certified installer and he got me pella windows and installation at a really good price.. so eventually we went through him.. gerlach windows in the south bay... \r i have since gone back to onestop and purchased some hardware for my entry door.. for that, they were excellent. more

Arghh...not enough competition in this space. Spent 2 hours there, got a quote and it didn't have all the details. Sales Rep "Eric" says to come back in to discuss, but we saw all the info entered into a computer. We'll try a few other places. more

I tried to purchase Milgard Windows from these guys. I finally got a price and it was much more expensive than other. I finally purchased my windows at www.1stwindows.com I actually priced and bought them on line. Very knowledgeable sales people and responsive to my questions. I will definitely repeat more

This company has been very helpful, and the last time we used them the installers were so great. We ended up hiring them for separate jobs we were so happy. more

It depends on when you go and who you talk to. There has been times when it seems no one cares to help to other times when you can't shake them. They carry quality products and it is a nice showroom but personally I would go with patience to shop. more

I hired One Stop to install double-pane windows in my home a few years ago. I am writing now because recent remodeling in my house revealed that One Stop never bothered to put any weather stripping between the window frame and the house. I learned this fact when I removed the skimpy wood stripping that held the windows in place. I could see outside through openings all along the window. That explains the constant street noise and the fact that the windows leaked during rains. The wet floor borads attracted termites and undermined a structural beam resulting in costly repairs. This is particularly distrubing because I specifically asked them if weather stipping was installed and they told me it was. I recall during the job they damaged window frames and failed to measure properly requiring repeated work. The old windows were fine but were single pane. However, One Stop's leaky, poorly installed double-pane windows One Stop caused more damage and functioned poorly. I would never hire them again. Cons: Extremely poor installation work more

I suspect my experience was impacted by the sales person I was assigned to. Although Greg Miller was very personable, it took unbelievably long to get our windows ordered and installed. In all, we started the process in October and got very quick service from the person sent to measure our windows. Then months would go by before any contact. We persisted because although slow, Greg was knowledgeable, and we reasoned that the end result was what mattered. We finally got the windows installed in April. If you are not in a hurry, we did get quality windows with a quality installation, at a decent price. Greg gave us a discount for the delay, which we appreciated. However, if we had been in a hurry, this would not have been a good company to go with. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job, though. We found the wait worth it, but don't believe the average buyer would be willing to be so persistent and patient. more
