Disgruntled ex-employees tend to shed unfavorable light on their past employers and belatedly complain about things they should have brought up before if they were dissatisfied in the first place.
This particular disgruntled ex-employee was interviewed, resume and qualifications were examined, and he was offered a student to tutor. We have several other physics tutors on staff, but due to the high demand of physics students, we were hiring a few more physics tutors. He was offered a position with One on One because of his qualifications and he ""seemed"" to be a king young man who would work well with students.
He only worked at One on One a total of 6 hours and never mentioned once he was not pleased with the hourly wage (which is actually comparable to other tutor wages at other tutoring agencies). He was paid in full, granted it was belated (because tutors pick up their checks at the office unless they specifically ask it to be mailed). His emails and phone calls were threatening and very unprofessional (and he has the gall to call us unprofessional). His second check that was mailed was lost in his other mail, and he accused us of not sending it (when he just hadn't checked his stack of mail thoroughly before his accusation).
One on One has been opened and running an awesome tutoring business for 15 years! We had and have many happy students, parents and employees. The proof is in the pudding, I guess.
If anyone wants referrals to the the excellent service we provide, please call One on One Tutoring and we'd be happy to provide them. 801-733-6553
