One Cypress Landing Apartments

So we're moving out of my boyfriends parents house thinking we're finally gonna have our own wonderful little place with our 9 month old baby. We looked at various apartments around 1960 and decided for the price, this little cute apartment would do. BAD DECISION. So we give them the downpayment and they have 1 month to fix the apartment up, clean it, whatever.... right??? Well the day we move in, my baby is crawling on the carpet and his feet are black!! I'm thinking wth, i actually wanted new carpet because of the baby and they didn't even shampoo it!! The closet door fell off the first time we opened it, the restroom didn't even have the door, we have fruit flies that are driving me crazy, a heavy roach infestation that got worse after the downstairs neighbors moved away. By the way we get charged for pest control and it's just aggravating. The worst thing is the roaches, the fruit flies, the damn maintanance or office ppl don't do SHITTTT!!! Called them frikin 5 times for all the repairs and they still haven't come and done shitttt after 6 months that we've been living here. We haven't moved away because we have a 12 month lease and don't wanna break the contract, but how things are right now i've convince my boyfriend to break the contract and find another place to move into. My message to you if you wanna move into these apartments: DON'T, THEY ARE CHEAP, BUT STILL NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! more

This is the absolute WORST experience we have had at an apartment complex! They drag their butts fixing EVERYTHING. You have to call them at least 2 times sometimes 3 or 4 before they even process your work order. And then we were without hot water for an entire week in the winter (with a baby). We have continuous plumbing problems. It's also in a high crime area. We've seen numerous cars vandalized in the parking lot, heard gun shots (and the police never came), neighbors that have been held up and robbed at gun point. It's not a safe place for kids or adults for that fact and we will be leaving as soon as we are able to! more

Moving to this place was a bad choice. They dont care about the people that are living here, They dont care about your saftey. They dont even have the key box for the Fire Department or EMS. They can key the place clean try to go to my truck and slip on the mud that there fix foris to take a shove and more 2 scoops. Pay your rent on time and early and get hosed by thenwhen tryingto move to a LARGER place and told sure for $800.00 or I can pay a reletting fee of $500.00 and move across town.
