I received a call from Gina the manager after I had sent a resume in, for assistant manager. We determined a time-Fri.July 3, 2009 at 11:00 for an interview. I arrived at 10:55am after a hour long drive from Lancaster, SC.\r
I went in and asked for Gina. She asked, ""Are you here for an interview""(DUH) and ""What is your name""(DUH). She said I will be right with you , so look around. \r
11:05, 11:10, 11:15, and still she is no where to be found. I looked around and found the larger size clothing 10 and up were in poor shape and needed to be disgarded and thrown in the garbage. It was hot, nasty, and unorganized. 11:20, 11:25. still waiting.........I left at 11:30. Gina still NO WHERE to be found. If she was that busy she could have come up to me at anytime and say, I'm sorry, I'm busy, It will be a few minutes longer, etc... But, she didn't. This is a manager?? Good customer service skills? I don't think so! By the looks and sound of the other girls, customer service wasn't their speciality either.\r
I went home and called another store, because I wanted the owner to hear what I had gone through. I asked the woman who answered the phone how I could get in touch with the OWNER. She replied, ""I AM THE MANAGER"" ( I don't care). She finally gave me a number. I left a message. No return call, yet. I will keep trying, by letter, another phone call, or to David and Nancy Farmer.
Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!!
Cons: RUDE
