Not the best place to eat italian food 8/9/2006

I get often invited to Olive Garden, and I honestly do not understand why people are so crazy about it. Probably it is because of its location: it is literally omnipresent! The food, however, is merely average, the pasta dishes are more on the greasy side, and yeah, there is free soup/salad refill....but, really, is that what I am looking for in a good restaurant? Pros: good place to go with children Cons: average food and service more

Not totally Italian, but not Bad! 7/16/2002

The food is good, not great, good. A little better than what your mothers may have cooked/tried to cook for Sunday dinner. A fair price, good food, relxed dinning, and one located near every major mall in Ohio-----that may be why its on the list.(!exposure!) I sure many of you crew up on nothing more than Ideal pasta with Ragu sauce. All in all not bad for a chain restaurant--! more
