Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

The young girl that was to take us to the tables refused to give us a table and the guy there assigned us to a booth. She said there were no tables available. In front of my fiance and I she took another couple that came after us to a table! I could not believe it! I will never ever go there again. more

My Aunt in her 80's was taken to dinner at Olive Garden, food was good, service good...........but here comes the tacky part. Instead of a free verbal 'Happy Birthday' comment, which would have been appropriate from the staff or anything else '''except''' what Olive Garden considered cute.......the server come out with an empty saucer with a lighted candle stuck to it. Like I said, a simple ' Happy Birthday' would have been more couth then that jester. Tacky,tacky,tacky!!! Remember.. 'a simple nothing' would have been better then that. Tacky,tacky,tacky!!! With Erie boasting many authentic Italian restaurants it's going to be tough competition when it comes to pleasing us but somehow The Olive Garden seems to pull through with flying colors! This is truly my favorite place to get fettuccine Alfredo! The absolute creamiest sauce ever with just the right touch of garlic and cheeses. While no dinner there would be complete without their standard big bowl of salad and all you can eat bread sticks there's absolutely no way you should leave this place hungry! A tad bit on the expensive side for pasta if you think about what it costs to make yourself but really, I don't think you could complain because these dishes come with complete authenticity and portions that would fill even the hungriest eaters! I've rarely if ever not gone home with leftovers!!!! Lunch is one of my favorite times here as they have the soup, salad and bread sticks at a really fair price of around $6. Add their raspberry lemonade for a refreshing summer drink and you have the perfect meal. Clean facilities, acceptable prices and wonderful food! My biggest complaint... I have yet been able to fit in dessert! more

Olive Garden is a perfect place to have great food in a great setting. It's very cozy and feels just like home. The service is great, I've never had a complaint, and I've never not liked a dish that I ordered. The salad and breadsticks are an excellent addition to every meal (my boyfriend and I always order 2 bowls). I also love the Andes mints that they had out with the check. more

Good italian food in a classier setting than can be normally found in Erie. Their always running specials such as "all you can eat soup and salad" and their "never ending pasta bowl". Decorated in an italian setting you feel like your in the middle of Sicily eating your meals. more
