Olena's European Spa & Salon

Olena's is one of the few places here in Portland that is conveniantly located, and offers such luxurious services. Anna has been doing my hair for about three years now, and I just love how she does them. She always makes sure that each hair is cut perfectly and that the color is exactly what you wanted. Valentina is the best nail tech. Her station is very cean and sanitized. It seems that doing nails is her passion, and she'll do everything to make sure that you got the best manicure / pedicure. My first impression was going to the front desk and there were two women behind the desk who acted like I was bothering them and pointed to the chairs for me to sit. The pedicure was not outstanding for paying $55.00. The room was off to the side but there was a supply room inside the pedicure room and people were going back and forth the whole time not making it very relaxing. My appointment was the last one of the day and I felt there was a rush to get me out of there. The products were okay. Nothing outstanding for the cost. I have had better for less. more

A friend of mine recommended that I try Olena's, I have just moved into the area a couple of months ago, and I'm very glad I did... It was a wonderful experience. Olena greeted me and made me feel right at home. Her facials are famous, and now I know why. She has a very gifted touch. Her facial was incredible, the best I have had in a long time... Afterwards, She made some recommendations to clean up some problems I have had with my skin, and I just love the products. They are much better than the products I have been buying off the shelf. I started going to this Spa, several months ago, just after I had my new baby. My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas and I went in mid January. I have been to other spa's in Portland, but none of them treated me as kindly and special as Olena's... They pampered me from the moment I walked in and all through the two hours I spent there. It was heaven, and so much appreciated. I haven't been treated so nice in such a long time. Many of the other places I visited were either like a Dr. Office, clinical-unfriendly, or very corporate business-like and not too personal. Every moment of my experience at Olena's I felt like I was a very special person. My first facial in a long time was truly heavenly... Given by Olena herself, she has such a wonderful soft relaxing touch. I almost fell asleep half way into it. My skin looked better than it has in a long time, and I felt so relaxed. Then I had a manicure and pedicure in their gorgeous manicure room. Very pleasant and pampered again, my hands and feet never looked better. It was the best gift my husband could have given me. I loved it and have been back almost every month or so. Each time the service by the ""girls"" is great, professional and very relaxing. I love this place !!! Last month they opened an all women's fitness club upstairs. It looks very nice and unlike any fitness club I have ever seen... One of their trainers, Audy, showed me around, and told me all about the beautiful ""Club"". I felt there was no pressure to sign up. I told her that perhaps after summer was over and the kids were back in school... she said that would be great. It is really a beautiful place for a woman who wants to work out in a private, clean, home-like atmosphere. This is a great addition to Olena's Spa and I can't wait to give it a try. more

This spa could be good, but to many things just weren't conducive to a relaxing time.. first, even though they show they accept credit cards when you walk in and when I called to make the appointment they said they accepted, when I was ready to leave they didn't want to.. I asked why and they said that they would have to use the owner's machine. I never did find out why that would be a problem. They recommended an ATM machine close by to get cash, but the overall effect was that I felt like the person doing something wrong for not carrying cash around with me.. more

I found Olena's Spa is a beautiful place with skilled staff and a friendly atmosphere. The service here was excellent, and the beauty care products they use at the Spa are very good. I was impressed with the range of services and treatments available at the Spa, and Olena's facial is one of the best I have ever experienced. I found the prices at Olen's to be very reasonable, and I plan to come back again soon! I became a loyal customer of the Olenas Spa & Salon about a year ago. My previous facial experience wasnt that exciting. I have friends that discovered this spa and talked me into trying it out. Knowing how picky and knowlegible my friends are I decided to give it a chance. Olenas Spa is the best spa I've ever been to. Olena gives incredible facials. My skin is much better now than it was before. It is clear, healthy, and radiant. I love the products that they use in the salon. They work perfect for my skin. Besides the incredible facials, everything else about the spa is just amazing: beautiful interior, relaxing atmosphere, friendly customer service. Now I also have my hair done there with Irina. This spa out classes any I've seen yet! I started the day with an amazing massage (complete with hot moist towels) and then went on to get a facial that left my skin looking and feeling like silk. A wonderful snack of fruit, cheese and juice, and then on to a heavenly pedicure after a soak in a jet tub!!!!!! The day was completed with a new hairstyle!! The first time I went to the spa the treated my like a queen. My facial was the best I have ever had, and then I had a pedicure in one of the best pedicure rooms I have ever been in. It was just so nice and relaxing. I just love going there. THey treat you so nice, even offering a snack or some exotic treats, if you are there longer than one treatment or service. The decor is very pleasant and beautiful, with a unique European looking relaxing water fall in the corner of the waiting room. I just love this place.
