Good neighborhood pub 4/14/2006

Old Silver Tavern is a good neighborhood bar. This is the type of place that gives you popcorn that makes you thirst so that you drink more. The food is good even if it is not the same as it was with the old owner. Definitely a local feel but not a dive bar at all. more

Good food, good atmosphere 12/21/2005

This is an old style bar with good bar food and a friendly neighborhood place. It has a feel of a relaxing old fashioned bar. Nothing to dress up for, because there ain't no one to impress here. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a nice neighborhood pub. more

Was Much Better Before 11/2/2005

Old Silver Tavern is your average neighborhood bar and restaurant. It has a lot of town memerobilia from over the years. They are known for good food at good prices but they recently changed ownership over the past few years and the food is not as good as it was. the Sunday Brunch is a special treat. more
