Ok, I have always liked the Old Country Buffet - we have a 2 year old, so this type of restaurant works for us. I know that this not gourmet food and I am ok with that and don't expect it, but this was ridiculous. I can give a whole list, but I will just say about 30% of the items in the buffet were gone or almost gone and what was left had obviously sat under the heat lamps for a long time. Stuff was stuck to the sides of the pans and crusty. The refried beans were - not edible to say the least! Things were mislabeled and also food was spilled all over like a kindergarten class had just been to the buffet. Ugh. No low fat salad dressing, barely any fruit, various items that were hard to identify - literally with the salad dressings there was a container of clear glop and with the hot foods there were circular greyish brown discs with grey stuff on the top. The fries looked like they had been out for days - even my 2 year old knew not to eat them and when I tried to put shredded carrots on my lettuce (or the reminants of lettuce from the bottom of the container), the carrots were frozen to the bottom of the container creating a lovely freezer burnt taste - eeeww! And this great meal cost us with the tip $34.00. Ugh - why did we not just get a pizza for half the price! STAY AWAY!!!! Or, up the street is the Golden Corral - go there, please - its great!! I have now warned you!!!
