O'Neils was very professional in the way that we were treated. They called with detailed information and allowed us to make the decision for repairs. The pricing may have been a little higher than other shops in the area but they indeed stand behind their work. You can not stay in business for as png as they have unless you provide excellent service. Very satisfied customer. more

Honest. Understanding of customers having a bad car day. 12/8/2013

These guys are the best. They are the only place I will take my car for anything it needs. These guys won't try to sell you what you don't need. They explain in a clear way what codes your car gave and what they mean. They take the time to listen to you and your car. The best thing they did was to give me options that would best work for me at the time. No scare tactics, no pushing for me to do more then I could at the time. That kind of honesty and respect is hard to find these days. more

Knowledgable 12/7/2013

I brought my Honda Odyssey in, we'll aware of most all it's mechanical problems, & wanted a rough estimate on a transmission for my model & year. The tech spent some time reading all the check engine light codes, & spent time talking about much less than my transmission, that needed to be done. I was told the quote would be between $25-50. They charges me $40, for what I feel was everything else he told me. Since I came in with the knowledge already, I would have preferred to pay the $25 for the quote on the transmission I asked for. I felt my time was ignored, & I was overcharged. more

Honest work is hard to come by these days in this beggared economy. But with O’Neill team they have proven their integrity and trustworthiness to their customers. Their diagnostic work and report on my veh transmission was more than what I have asked for. Great people and friendly environment. O’Neill Transmission is the place to go. more

Prompt Service 11/8/2013

We took our vehicle in for a transmission shift problem. Tom and his crew did an inspection and found nothing that deemed immediate service, they did some service bulletin recommendations and the problem has yet to reappear. Honesty is a hard virtue to find these days and as an old service adviser myself skepticism comes natural to me. He did not try to sell me nothing I did need even though I was anticipating a new transmission and the cost with it. I was so elated I had them replace all four struts and an alignment. They did a great job and I would highly recommend O'Neils Transmission Service for all your auto service needs. Great job guys! Thank you, Tim Willis more

Saved me at least $1500 11/3/2013

I was told I needed a complete trany rebuild but O'Neills said that was not needed. Instead a repair of half the previously quoted amount (from a different shop) was done. Thanks! more

Charged more than what was initially quoted. 10/30/2013

The first time I went in to get a quote on the repair, I was given around an $80 price for the part and another $65 for service. I had access to the part already and asked to have them replace my broken part with the one I already had, assuming that the service charge would stay the same. But AFTER replacing the O2 sensor, I was asked to pay $90. $20 didn't seem like a big enough deal to question it at the time, but the more I thought about it, the more bitter of a taste it left in my mouth. It just feels like I got swindled out of some money a bit and it saddens me because my car seems to be fixed and the overall experience other than that was ok. If someone were to ask me if I recommend this place, I wouldn't be able to tell them without mentioning that they are dishonest about pricing their services. more
