Michael was already at the home and almost done by the time I arrived. He was inspecting the home for possible purchase. He was able to show me everything that he discovered that was wrong in a detailed report along with explanations. I was also able to call him for advice several days later on supposed repairs that had been made. Michael delivered quality work and I would recommend him to others. more

Inspector was very thorough with his inspection. 3/24/2014

I was able to be with the inspector for the entire inspection, except when he had to inspect under neath the homein the crawl space. I would have like to have been there with him to see the things he reported on, but unfortunately I can not get down and crawl about on my knees due to a job injury I recieved in 2009. The inspector went over everything good and bad that he had found. He also explained several factors to me so that I could understand better about some of the things I had questions about. He knew his job and he did it very well even in the bad weather we had the day of the inspection. more

Mr. Michael Hughes did a GREAT job inspecting my home. The first thing I noticed when he showed up to my home was how professional his service was, he explained every issue that he found on the house and gave solutions on how to repair the problems. After the inspection was completed he emailed me a highly detailed report of the entire inspection to keep for reference. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a home inspection, I garantee you will be pleased with the service. more

Excellent - used No1 several times 10/16/2013

Michael at Number 1 has inspected several properties for us as we were home hunting, and later looking for investment properties. He helped us find a couple of great places, and more importantly helped us avoid some real problem homes. He is always prompt, thorough, and professional - we're lucky we found him after some early problems with other inspectors. more

I could not be more satisfied with the thorough, professional inspection Michael conducted. He is a pleasure to talk to and explains everything in understandable terms. The report is beyond my expectations and so user friendly. This kind of service is so rare today, I would highly recommend Michael to friends, family or anyone looking to buy a home. It's such a scary thing trying to chose anything today and feel good about it. Money is tight for the average person and you worry about wasting it on poor service. Everything I thought an inspector should check 6/4/2013

Mr. Hughes exceeded my expectation of things an inspector should look for at a house.His thoroughness and exhaustive inspection was the only indication of what was wrong with the house. The findings were emailed to me in a concise, understandable and timely presentation. The cost was too high, but the results worth it. more
