Not your Above Average Joes 10/3/2008

I had a problem with this place. Dad and I came here with some friends and well, we were appalled by the service. One of the staff was chewing gum, while taking orders from patrons. Not good. The food was ok, but thats all that saved this place from getting one star. I like the location, being on US 6, but no one should have to suffer through the lazy service. Pros: food was ok Cons: lazy service more

Bad Service 8/2/2006

We walked in and we were told it would be 45 minutes. AN HOUR AND A HALF later we were seated. More disturbing was the fact everyone who was seated came in after us! Apparently, they have an unpublished ""CALL AHEAD"" program to put your name on the ""waiting to be be seated list"" (at least that's what they told us). I told them that it was no excuse for givng us an estimate that was DEAD WRONG on how long it would take to be seated (unlike other comment, they do not take reservations). Always above average 8/1/2005

Whether going there personally or asking my wife to bring home a take out item, Joe's always pleases...Joe's has sought to put together the right combination not only in New Bedford but in all of its locations...As an observer of business opportunities in the greater New Bedford area, Joe's siezed the moment and has never looked back...watch them closely as they may go public any time soon...and, buy as much stock as you can when the ipo hits the streets...not your average joe's will = above average earnings....my money will be on the table... Pros: Great food, Excellent Service, Ample Parking more
