My dog Primo and I travel for one hour to your clinic, passing at least 10 other vets alogn the way, why? One reason.. Dr. Helmer. Dr. Helmer is what every veternarian should be; extremely knowledgeable, thorough, kind, compassionate and most of all takes time to answer my many questions without ever rushing us. Dr. Helmer is the best of the best in his profession.\r more

Dr. Helmer is the epitome of a veterinarian and humanitarian. He always takes time to explain the science (no matter how rudimentary) to us, to enable us to be better educated pet caregivers. No question is stupid; we are always treated with respect. We always leave the clinic with new and useful information. Whenever I am frustrated at the 45- 60 min drive from Gulfport to North Bay, I think of Dr. Helmer's vast store of knowledge and dedication, and I am happy to have access to such a talented and caring individual. I expected to wait while until they could work me in for an urgent matter for my cat Charmin. The day I needed her to be seen they were completely booked. We were seen right away and all of her care needs were attended to. The staff was fantastic. Thank you very much, I really do appreciate your services.\r more

We have taken our dog to your clinic since we adopted her 5 years ago! We couldn't be happier each and every time we take her for her appointments.
