No clue what the clowns below are talking about! This place rocks 3/2/2009

Used or new, who gives a hoot? Music is music, and Norman's has tons of it. Obviously our friend below is upset about getting fired, or whatever reason he isn't working there anymore. I walked into Norman's, looked around for about an hour, and walked out with about $100 worth of music, that I casually paid $30 for. The prices are right. Who gives a hoot if the items are re-packaged. If you're so worried about repackaging on records, then buy them on itunes and you won't worry about any packaging. Norman's is meant for music heads who like the physical product. I love the shop. Great place, loud tunes, good energy. Pros: Great selection more

Where not to go to buy music 5/21/2006

CDs are too expensive, especially because the majority of them are promos that have been resealed with their own machine. Limited selection for anything other than jazz and guitar rock. Owner promises orders and never delivers on it. Instead of ""the customer is always right"" methos, it's more ""there is a sucker born every minute"". They even sell obvious used CDs as new. The staff, in general, is nice, but don't ask for any recomendations or expect a nice welcome. Pros: Staff Cons: Owner, Selection, Price more
