I love this restaurant! Great service! One time, the staff was so apologetic (long wait, one order never delivered) they gave us a complimentary dish and extra ice cream! Now THAT'S what I call customer service! I've tried several dishes and they're all great. However, I really didn't like the chicken teriyaki. This place is a good place to celebrate anything with a large crowd. The space is big and they are extremely accomodating. The food isn't bad either. Their chicken kara aga is the best! The portions are big and you are always full when you leave this place. And they will always serve you with some sort of dessert. It is a family owned business and they are all friendly. Sometimes there is a wait, particularly for Friday and Saturday dinners. The customers are a mix crowd. Families patronize this place, and it is definitely a hot spot for young folks (i.e. older teenagers to twenty something year olds)... I see them there often. The original restaurant was a couple of blocks east on Noriega and then they relocated to the current storefront about 2yrs ago, we found the quality of the meals to be just as good with much more seating. It's popular on weekends, requiring reservations. They offer a variety of foods & large portions. The sushi's not one of the best in town but is satisfactory. My family enjoy their Tonkatsu and Chicken Karaage. Their tempura batter is a bit hard and crunchy as I prefer a lighter batter. We eat here often as well as take-out. They provide miso soup and ice cream in styrofoam cups when you order the take-out dinners. Around Valentine's Day, they'll give the adult females in the dinner party a rose to take home. Noriega Teriyaki House has great food, generous portions and great service. Kid friendly, my children love the chicken katsu. The menu is diverse and will satisfy all from meat eater to vegetarian. Check out their catering party trays. Have not had one yet but they seem like a super deal pricewise, I already know the food is good! Pros: good prices, great food more

I too heard about Noriega Teriyaki from word of mouth. Apparently with no advertisements, this is how they attract their business. But it works. I patroned the restaurant last sunday and had a wonderful waiter. Ordering a dragon roll (Great deal) and a Giants Roll (Im a Giant's Fan) for myself with a Teri Special Dinner for my wife and two kids, the meal was great and worth the buck. The Dragon Roll is huge and the Teri Special Dinner is a combo meant for two that can feed three or four. Besides the great deal, our waiter was very helpful and every request was replied with a smile. Altought the restaurant was very packed, we still received great serivce. High Recommended. However, we did wait 1/2 hour to be seated and there is no waiting area. But it was well worth the wait. more

I visit Noriega Teriyaki at least once a week with my family because their portions are so generous! Especially the tempura and seabass....yummy! After going to other places, I've realized that this is one of the very few places that really care about their customers. Last time I ordered something raw by accident, the wait staff was very considerate to change it for me since I'm a regular. Most places wouldn't care at all. Plus, the meals come with ice cream at the end, but recently, they've been offering these fantastic three colored jellos as well, which is great because my kids love it! more

Not my favorite place for sushi if I'm in the mood for super fresh fish, but this place does put out some decent items. The salmon and spicy tuna is always a good bet if you're in the mood. Don't come here if you want monkfish liver, sea urchin, or fatty tuna. The chicken kaarage is pretty good too. Pros: get what you pay for more
