The hot and sour soup is ridiculously good. Best I've had in the Milwaukee area. Second best I've had ever. The crab rangoons were a little more done than I prefer them. The entrees I've had have always been pretty decent. But seriously... get the soup. more

I will have to try again :) . My order was not my favorite, but all the other orders were apparently great. Decent food, fast delivery. (Plenty also) Been ordering many times more: Try the boneless ribs :) yummy!! more

crab rangoon was under stuffed and burnt. Chicken fried rice was excessively greasy and tasted like old oil. I abosolutely wasn't impressed. The delivery driver didn't even follow the instructions! more

I've ordered from No.1 Chinese many times. It is good for cheap, fast delivered hot food. The fact that I'm a repeat customer speaks for itself. I've been disappointed at times when they randomly substitute my order, egg rolls for example, for something else like crab rangoon. I've also gotten a "last of the vegetables" dish before- like all green peppers?? But, as I said, they are fast, hot, and for the most part, predictable. more

The food was pretty good, as usual. Fast delivery, too. However they list the soft drink as a 20oz, and in reality it was 16oz. more

I have been here multiple times. Only ordered once by phone and it was a bad phone experience, like tech help desk call to india. It is better to order in person IMO. The food is excellent. No matter if you walk into this particular chain location or you order by phone your order will always be wrong. I have used this restaurant more than four times and each time it has happen to me. The other problem that I have is the little bit of white rice you receive with an order. I also question the cleanness of the kitchen. On my last visit, there was an employee who took my order, and then took the money in payment and he then went to fix the food order without washing his hands. I also saw one of the employees take some white rice and put it into the white togo container and then dump the rice back into their large kettle of rice and then reuse the togo container more than five minutes later on another order. I for sure will not be giving them another chance. Pros: Food is good Cons: Order is always wrong more
