By mistake I called Newtown Heating and Air and had them come to my house yesterday because my heat was out. When they came, I realized that I had called the wrong person ... I have a contract with Ray's HVAC. The person who came told me that Ray's was out of business and that I need a new furnace for $3100. He also said that Ray's does not have authorization to work on my furnace, a Trane. I called Ray's today. He is not out of business. He can work on Trane. He came today. I do not need a new furnace. It was a dirty flue which he cleaned and I am up and running. Shameful, Newtown Heating and Air! more

this company doesnt honor the hours it says it'll be @ your home, they call and say the electrician will be late and he never shows up, when you call the office all you get is an answering service that takes your info, but you never get a phone call back to reschedule your appt,and all the answering service tells you is that they ARE SHORT STAFFED like i care, i'm the consumer here.terrible way to run a business,or maybe place a help-wanted ad newtown heating , shame on you!!! more

A Company That Cares 2/9/2009

Newtown Heating and Air Conditioning is very profession. When my heater broke only one day after a major holiday. The owner of this company personally came to my house to assess the "damages". He gave me a fair price for excellent workmanship. They came the next day to install. He actually cared that there were 3 young children without heat. The others that came came by were only out to make money on a desperate mom, not Newtown Heating & Air Conditioning, he beat the others price by a landslide. They were clean, neat workers. They showed great respect for my home, also. They will be back in the spring for my new air conditioner. I highly recommend this business. more
