After a little shopping in Nashville, we decided to try New Orleans Manor on our way home to Portland. I was surprised at the inactivity around the restaurant as we were pulling in. There was no one else headed into or out of the restuarant. That's when I noticed that the hours were 5-9, and we were arriving at 8:30. That should have been my first clue to keep driving home. We were promptly seated, however the host was less than inviting and did not ask us how many in the party or whether we wanted smoking or non smoking. The server did not mention any menus, and told us the restaurant only had the hot bar. At 8:30, the bar was empty. There were no vegetables, no meat, only crab legs, and some fried shrimp. After walking around the bar in confusion a couple of times, the attendant said they would be replenishing the bar momentarily. So, I decided to fix a salad. The salad options were as disappointing as the bar. The only options on the salad bar were ice berg lettuce, tomato wedges, cheese, olives, mushrooms, and lettuce.
Pros: Not crowded
Cons: Poor Food, worse price
