IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR NO STARS THAT WOULD OF BEEN MY RATING!! I have picked up prescriptions for my elderly mother at Nelsons Drug for a few years now. Recently she had two prescriptions that she needed me to pick up for her, so we went together and picked them up. The pharmacist whom I will not name gave me the prescriptions and we then drove a few blocks to our home. Immediately as we pulled in the drive due to an unforeseen incidence I had to rush my mother to the emergency room at Perry Memorial Hospital. While we were there the doctor checked her prescriptions that she had and the ones that we had just gotten filled and discovered that the two that were just filled less than 30 minutes prior were in the wrong bottles. Now every medicine can be dangerous if taken incorrectly which is exactly what would of happened due to the wrong medication in the wrong bottles had the great people at Perry Memorial Hospital not caught this mistake that Nelsons Drug had made. A week or so later I went in to pick up my mothers monthly medication and because there were eleven of them I asked them to double check them and make sure if they were in the right bottles, you can never be to cautious. I was screamed at by the pharmacist after I had made this request, apparently he was offended by this request. I charge you people of Princeton, if you fill your medications at Nelsons Drug be very cautious- you never know when they may slip up again. It is a dangerous situation that could happen to anyone. Who do you have that can catch a trusted pharmacies deadly mistake?
