The first guy who fixed my heater at NDI plumbing was awesome, but I felt robbed by the guy who came to fix the plumbing. He had no parts with him, and charged me for him to go to Lowe's to get parts. He charged me way more than the individual parts cost. I just feel like I was already paying for the service, so why should I have to pay for the parts? I might as well have just done it myself. more

We got three quotes from companies who reviewed our situation. Two of the companies gave suggestions that were much more expensive, but NDI Plumbing was able to solve the problem with much less invasive work. I was disgusted with NDI Plumbing. The man who came wasn't able to complete the job. The first time he showed up was on a Sunday night, and I missed my dinner and the six o'clock news by trying to help him with the job. I had a flood in my basement. I have a bad back, and the whole time I was standing there, helping him with the flashlight. He couldn't even find the right leak and he was only able to make it sixteen feet in through the wall of the basement, where the leak was coming from. Apparently, it was his birthday, and his girlfriend or somebody kept calling him, and he kept answering the phone, saying how he would call them back. I think he was expecting it to be a thirty-minute job, and it was turning out to be longer than he expected. He even cut his fingers with his machines while working, and I had to help him with that. He ended up leaving without finishing because it became too late, and he came back Monday morning. My wife said he was over an hour late and he still didn't finish the job. Then he says the job was bigger than he thought and that he would not be able to do it because he didn't have the proper equipment. His excuse was "well I tried". This was after I shoveled over two-hundred and fifty dollars! I work hard for my money, and to give that much money without the leak even being repaired just left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't get compensated for this charge, and nor did I ask. I had to call another company, and I had to end up paying them as well. I only had to pay them one-hundred and forty, and they actually fixed the problem. The man from this company was able to get in one-hundred feet deep in the wall and get to the root of the leak. I don't want the guy from NDI Plumbing to lose his job, and I understand people run out of gas, but this was just not a good experience at all. more

Overall I had a great experience with NDI Plumbing. They came out for a fairly simple fix, and although it took a bit to get the part from the hardware store, they showed up promptly the day of the service and deliver the results they said they would. We've been working with NDI Plumbing for about a year and they've been very helpful. They are highly competent plumbers. As a property management company, we've had them do various repairs for us on the smaller scale. They've handled some larger business for us as well which has included some pretty substantial sewer line work, water heater replacements, and diagnosing some ancient plumbing systems. NDI Plumbing does plumbing, furnaces, and I have a handyman who does a lot of work for me but when there's an issue he can't handle, I contact NDI. I had a couple of furnaces on an old rental property that needed to be replaced. They did it in three or four days. I've used them for the past couple of years or so now because I can call them up, they'll come and do the work, and are reasonably priced. more

You don't find too many people who you can call in the wee hours of the morning and wake them up. NDI Plumbing's people are careful, they are concerned, and they do everything they can to help you, even at that hour of the morning. Most of the people I tried were only open from 9 to 5.
