I was disgusted with NDI Plumbing. The man who came wasn't able to complete the job. The first time he showed up was on a Sunday night, and I missed my dinner and the six o'clock news by trying to help him with the job. I had a flood in my basement. I have a bad back, and the whole time I was standing there, helping him with the flashlight. He couldn't even find the right leak and he was only able to make it sixteen feet in through the wall of the basement, where the leak was coming from. Apparently, it was his birthday, and his girlfriend or somebody kept calling him, and he kept answering the phone, saying how he would call them back. I think he was expecting it to be a thirty-minute job, and it was turning out to be longer than he expected. He even cut his fingers with his machines while working, and I had to help him with that. He ended up leaving without finishing because it became too late, and he came back Monday morning. My wife said he was over an hour late and he still didn't finish the job. Then he says the job was bigger than he thought and that he would not be able to do it because he didn't have the proper equipment. His excuse was "well I tried". This was after I shoveled over two-hundred and fifty dollars! I work hard for my money, and to give that much money without the leak even being repaired just left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't get compensated for this charge, and nor did I ask.
I had to call another company, and I had to end up paying them as well. I only had to pay them one-hundred and forty, and they actually fixed the problem. The man from this company was able to get in one-hundred feet deep in the wall and get to the root of the leak. I don't want the guy from NDI Plumbing to lose his job, and I understand people run out of gas, but this was just not a good experience at all.
