The front desk was a mess, but the massage therapists were nice enough. They didn't ever ask how I wanted the pressure and sometimes it is difficult for me to ""pipe up"" unprompted so it wasn't as firm as I would have liked. All in all the service and ambiance was good, but not great. I'd recommend for someone who wants a quick swedish massage for relaxation, but not someone who really needs an attentive therapist for some deep tissue kneading. more

In Love with this place. Received a massage from dan who is the man and i must say i dont usually ask for a male therapist, but i wanted deep tissue and that was the only available service. I wish I had more thumbs so i could give this place 4 thumbs up. more

I would like to say that I really, really enjoyed my service. I got a pedicure today from Carmalita. This was the best pedicure I have ever had even though I don't remember some of it because I went to sleep, and I have had some pedicures. Loved it! more

All of the services I've had here were fabulous. The therapists always give me the full hour, instead of cutting my time short like other spas. Every massage I've received at Natural Body has been excellent. They also have some good all-natural products here like Naturopathica, and I love their Bumble & Bumble hair care products for my curly hair. more

This was a birthday present from my husband and I was VERY disappointed with all of my services! I go the spa at least once every 2 weeks and I have been to spas from California to Atlanta and this was not good at all! I said I was going to stay quite but I hate spending money on poor service. First, they took me back for my seaweed wrap which I was a little scared because I did not go to a changing room to drop off my things into a locker. Then the wrap starts and it was fine until I turned over. I got seaweed on the plastic and asked her if she could wipe the seaweed off so I would not get it in my hair. She said ""You mean you don't want seaweed in your hair!"" I said no and she rolled the plastic down and continued. Afterwards, she gave me a bag to put my items in and escorted me to the bathroom in the back to shower. I start to shower and look at the bottle supplies to use and when I picked them up each one had long blond hairs all over them! Seriously! I finish showering and open the door for my next service and I am met for my massage (Stil carrying my bag of stuff and my purse around). Yeap this is supposed to be relaxing carrying your crap around at a spa! My husband I have a couples massage and he liked his but mines SUCKED! Not only was it not smooth, I could tell he rushed. He did not even massage my hands he did not massage the left side of my arms and legs when I turned to my stomach. When he massaged my back he put oil on his arm and used his forearm that felt like prickle hairs. Just like when someone shaves and the hairs are growing back! Then we had the spa lunch and it was Cold! The sandwich the fries were cold. So trying not to let on that I wasn't happy to my husband I went to my next service. I was determined something was going to be good. Well my manicure and pedicure were poor qaulity. Eventhough, she was VERY nice and had great conversation, the quality of work was poor! There is nail polish on the skin around my toes. It looks clumped and bubbled up. My husband even hated it. I do realize everyone was very nice but the services were poor. I promise you I will never go back. I took pictures of my toes too show how bad the quality is. I will try to post here if I can or leave me your email and I will send you the pictures! more

I've been to a number of spas across the country for a variety of services from Mani/Pedi to facial to massage. This spa definitly ranks in the top. Natural Body was clean and inviting and every staff member was neat and professional. I had a manicure and pedicure and both services were wonderful and relaxing. I wish I would have had massage as well. I travel to this area often for business and will most definitly be back. more

When Natural Body International (NBI) closed its Washington, DC area franchises, it refused to honor the outstanding spa package purchases made by customers at those locations. NBI has formally stated that it has no obligation to honor service promises made by its franchisees. The Washington, DC area franchises closed with very little warning to their customers. I always have great experiences when I come to this spa. Just from walking in the door, the aroma of the candles, diffusers, and everythiing else that makes that incredible scent, I wish I could bottle it. The services are reasonably priced, the front desk staff (Emily, Jen and Eneta-she has a great smile) and therapist are knowledgeable and friendly. Especially Alyson and Stacy I always get my facials and waxing with them. Karen and Jamie are great for massages. And Indya for mani/pedi. The spa is in a great location at North Hills Mall. Some complain about parking but I always park down by Target , there are always spaces down there. more

All of the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products that they carry and the services they offer. I just got my third 90 minute massage this month, and each time, I left feeling awesome. I have grown to love all of the therapists...they all have different little techniques that set them apart but also make for great services. This last appointment, I also got a bikini wax and a facial, and my esthetician was so fast at the waxing that I almost didn't even feel it. Plus she did such a great job with my facial that I couldn't even remember the waxing at all. The front desk sure knows there stuff too. They helped me with all kinds of skin products and I am hooked on the Arnica Oil that they carry. I am going to get the Arnica Friction Massage next time so the therapist can professionally apply the arnica to my sore areas. I never have to worry when I go to Natural Body that I will be taken care of and they always address me by name, I'm not just another number, like we so often are these days. I highly recommend this spa and I as long as Natural Body is here, I will not be going anywhere else. Pros: most friendly and helpful staff more

OMG! I've had several bikini waxes over 10 years and this was by far the WORST bikini wax ever! I was red and swollen for 5 straight days. I couldn't even take off my shorts at the beach the entire time. The lady that did the wax never pulled my skin tight or put any pressure over the waxed area at all. I thought this was protocol. Please do not get a bikini wax here. I left a message with the manager but no return call. Cons: Painful! more

This spa is terrible! I went in for a hot stone massage a couple weeks ago and had Kelly. She was dropping rocks on the floor and coughing and there was just tons of noise going on - completely NOT a relaxing massage experience. After that time, I decided to try another service on Valentine's day and get a manicure/pedicure in hopes that it would be better. It wasn't. I had Angela and she was very nice and took her time, but the quality of the manicure was terrible. By the time I got home from dinner that night, the polish had already worn away from my fingers, the white of the french manicure was messy, and there were bubbles under the polish. The next morning I took a shower and the polish on my pinky nail was completely gone! For these prices, this spa is definitely NOT worth it! First time trying out this spa and received a 90 minutes massage. It was probably the worst massage I've ever gotten in the 10+ years I've been getting massages. There really wasn't much massage going on, more like poking and squeezing. You know it's bad when you are 20 minutes in and can't wait for it to be over. Not only was the massage bad, the room was overall cold, the masseuse didn't use enough oil on his hands and you could hear the employees talking so it wasn't a quiet serene atmosphere which is what you want (and expect) out of a spa. I get massages ragularly and wanted to try a new place. The website looked fabukous as did the treatment I requested. My therpaist was great, did a fantastic job. The big con.....A LOT of outside consdtruction noise. not sure if it was upstiars or next door but it was so loud it was impossible to relax fully. The other therapists were also a bit loud in the hallways. Every spa I have been to has been church quiet beyond the lobby doors- not this one, lots of chatter in the halls. I came in for a massage and pedicure and after seeing the spa I thought it was going to be a wonderful experience. It is a very pretty spa however the services aren't as great. They ended up doing the pedicure first...I had to wait 45 min. after my appointment time before I was even taken back. The girl was very stressed b/c she was so late, kept leaving the room, started cleaning her tools while my nails were drying (& was supposed to be relaxing) and then she fell hitting all of my nails and had to basically start over. By the time I got up she had painted gold leaves on my big toes that I had NOT requested. Then I got to my massage...by this point I am way more stressed out then when I walked in the door. During the massage my pedicure got completely ruined. When it was done my masseuse was no where to be found. I had to walk myself up front. What's worse is when I wrote into the web site about my disappointing experience I never even got so much as an ""I'm sorry"". It was the worst treatment I have ever received at a spa!! 9/29/07 - 3rd visit to Natural Body Spa... Natural Body Spa and Shoppe continues to deliver consistent, top quality friendly service, an excellent deep tissue / signature massage, at a reasonable / comparative price by skilled staff, in a very relaxing atmosphere. I've been very pleased with everyone, especially David. David listens carefully to your specific needs at the onset and with his hands /skill throughout the session. I'll continue to drive past several other spas to go to Natural Body. Pros: Great atmosphere, clean facilites, aromatherapy, skilled & friendly staff Cons: North Hills Parking can be tricky ---- Just go down to 2nd floor and take the escalator up more

I was very hesitant to get a facial and was scared that it would make me breakout. I kept hearing such good things from a group of women that go to a girl at natural body and i kept asking who to go to. I went to a girl who made me feel very comfortable and i could NOT believe how great my skin looked! So, i decided to send my teenagers with acne to Heather at Natural Body and she really cleared my kids skin up.....and even my son now begs to go get facials. She went beyond our expectations and took special interest in each of our skincare needs. It was great and we will be back time and time again. The storefront offers a wide selection of spa products, including eco-friendly lines Jurlique (I love their products!!!) and Aveda. The spa side is elegant and quiet. I have greatly enjoyed Jurlique anti-bacterial facials, done by Shelby. I also had an excellent massage in January, but that therapist has moved out of the area.
