Just what I needed - she makes the (high) grade. 11/19/2008

I am physically very active and get weekly massages. I have had massages from hundreds (thousands??) of massage therapists. There are now 3 massage therapists that I use on a regular basis and perhaps a half dozen others who have been outstanding over the years. Natalie is now in this group. I travel frequently and have learned that the most expensive massages are not necessarily the best. I hate resort massages where the therapist "pets" you for 50 minutes and then charges $180 for the experience. I like very deep, therapeutic massages where the therapist understands what areas need to be worked and with what pressure (which is usually a lot of pressure in my case). Natalie did exactly that. If I lived in the Austin area, I would be seeing her weekly! Pros: Serious, deep, therapeutic massage Cons: none more

A healer. 5/11/2008

Natalie knows how to work out tense, muscular knots. She doesn't give feathery spa treatments--she gives real DEEP tissue massage, and she knows the muscular system like the backs of her strong hands. Her work is personal and professional. Highly recommended. Pros: Natalie is a highly-skilled, personable professional. Cons: You won't see any other massage therapist again. more

You are in good hands with Natalie! 10/19/2006

My best friend always says, the best way to tell if you are in a good Indian food restaurant is to look around at the other customers. If there are many people of Indian descent, then you know you are in an authentic restaurant with high quality food, if not, then you are wise to turn around and leave. I believe the same theory holds true for massage therapists. All massage therapists need to take care of themselves by seeing another therapist from time to time. If your therapist ranks among those who the therapists use, then you can rest assured you are in good hands. Natalie Durkin is one of those therapists. more

The Expert! 9/12/2006

Who do you call? Natalie Durkins. After being thru much acupuncture for shoulder, back and groin pains, just a few short treatments from Natalie and the problems were fixed, rather than soothed for the moment. I feel realigned, flexible and pain free. Call Natalie as she is an expert. more

Excellent! 9/10/2006

If you're looking for a massage professional who provides excellent therapy, Natalie is definitely the person to call. I've worked with Natalie on overall muscular work and particular hand-wrist work after an injury. Natalie is extremely knowlegeable in the different needs and structures of the muscular system, and has the massage technique and hands to make a difference to your daily living, exercise, or training program. Her office is very relaxing and comfortable, and her personality makes her an asset to any regular theraputic ritual. I do recommend her to everyone interested in adding to a healthy life. more

Highly Recommended 9/5/2006

Having tested out many massage therapists over the past couple of years, I can say that Natalie is one of the few that I have returned to for visit after visit. There are not that many MTs who understand not only the "therapeutic" stress-relief aspect but also the physical sources and thus treatment of aches and pains; muscle pulls and just plain physical dysfunction. Stepping into her new oasis in the center of downtown is like taking a mini-vacation. When I return to work from a mid-day visit, I have only a minor memory of the pretzel person I was 30 minutes prior! more
