Nascar Cafe

The Nascar Cafe is a very fun place to take children when visiting Myrtle Beach. It is conveniently located on Hwy 17 (Business 17) and 21st Avenue North. They have a great display of racing pieces including full size racing cars (which make great photos). The food, in my taste, was mediocre and definitely overpriced. They serve hamburgers and chicken fingers and other typical menu items you would find in a restaurant targeting children. You do not go here for the food, but rather for the atmosphere. I give it a 2 for the food and a 4 for the fun factor, thus giving me a score of 3! more

If you are a NASACR Fan, then a visit to NASCAR Café is in order. NASACR Café is located at the corner of Hwy 17 Business and 21st Ave N in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is a wonderful place to visit. I have been around race cars for many years, and I love to visit here. As both a fan and as someone in the field. The museum area is large with some really nice pieces. They have a life size model of Bill France (the Father of NASCAR) right as you walk into the door. They have great memory pieces set up for Dale Sr. Davey Allison and Neil Bonnet among others. The food in the café part is decent. You get a good portion for the money. However the are very expensive. Or at least I think so. But it was worth the cost for the one time visit. more
