My Sugar's Donut Shopp

The donuts are great and the best I've ever had. They are soft and stay fresh and are even great the next day! I don't know why there are reviews bashing the new owners. They are very nice and friendly and have always provided excellent customer service. They are quick and I have never seen them be rude to anyone. For the Visa comment, I don't know if you have your own business or not, but I have seen other fast food establishments charge .40 cents for purchases under $5 and I've also seen places with the same policy that says that the minimum purchase is $5. more

It was my first time at My Sugar's Donut Shopp, and I explained to the ladies behind the counter that it was as well. They were very friendly and eager to help, and even gave me a free donut to sample - One that I had my eyes on AFTER I'd picked out and paid for my customized dozen donuts. I told her that it looked good, and I'd have to try it next time. She then gave it to me for free, and said she'd let me try it right now. Helpful, friendly, and not dragging around like I'd expect most people to be doing at 5am. It's small gestures like that which turn new customers into repeat customers. Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cons: A bit pricey, but worth it. more

I have been to My Sugars for many years and have never been so dissatisfied. I purchased a couple of muffins and was told it was made that morning, however it tasted extremely stale. The blueberry muffin had TWO blueberries throughout the entire muffin. Also, I was told fresh donuts would be ready in five minutes, but I sat and waited for over 20 minutes. When I got my donuts they were greasier than normal. To top things off, the employees were extremely rude! I made a comment about how much they raised their prices. The lady then told me to go to Einstein Bagels instead. I would NEVER step foot in this establishment again. I am very sad to see such a successful business go downhill with new ownership. Since the new owner has taken over the donuts have not changed but the owner is downright rude and conducts herself with the least amount of customer service that I have ever seen. Today, as I do about 2 times a week came in to get a donut, as I handed her my debit card she informed me that there was a $5 minimum purchase in order to make a purchase. I told her that that policy was bad business and against any visa merchant agreement. She decided to inform me that I had no right to tell her how to run her business. I agreed but assured her that I would be filing a complaint with Visa merchant services, and would lose a customer for life along with all my friends and family who frequent her store. Since april 1st the owners have changed and their donuts are stll great! they are open monday through friday from 5am-2pm but u gotta get there early! Cuz if you dont well then you wont be getting any donuts cuz they'll usually be sold out! so get there early and enjoy a hot and fresh donut! Pros: Great Donuts, Friendly Service! These are by far the best donuts anywhere on this planet!! I frequent this place daily. The people that work there are the MOST friendly people there are! I just can't say enough about everything. more

WOW! Where to begin with My Sugar's? I can honestly say that I have never tasted a better donut. Not to mention that their donust are ALWAYS fresh! And their employees are always very friendly. I can't believe that Sugar's isn't at the top of the list. I guess all of the Krispy Kremer's of the world haven't had a hot glazed donut from Sugar's let alone a gigantic hot apple fritter!!! Not only are the donuts great but just going in the shop is an experience, it's like watching a show the employees are always playful and friendly, and they seem to know most customers by name. The owners are always on site with a friendly Hello. Plus, I don't think I've ever seen such a clean place! So all you Krispy Kremer's should get a clue and head for Sugar's!!!!
