The Musee Mecanique is a great little hands-on museum that's fun for kids as well as adults. They have quite a grouping of neat arcade games from the turn of the century and early 1900's, as well as relics (like Laughing Sal) from the Playland on the Beach which I wasn't around to see, but have heard stories about from my dad who grow up going there. All of this used to be housed near the Cliff House at Ocean Beach, but I much like their new home at Fishermans Wharf. It's great that tourists, as well as locals can now experience this little museum.
