Last year a tech from Mr. Furnace came to repair our main furnace, and failed to get it right the first and second trips out - having replaced a part that apparently did not need to be replaced. A different tech came out for the third call and immediately came up with a completely different diagnosis than the first tech developed. He was able to repair the furnace by replacing a timer switch on the fourth visit. I was glad to have the system working again, but I thought they could have done it quicker and with less cost to me if the first tech was more experienced and able to diagnose the problem.
This year our secondary furnace stopped working and I called Mr. Furnace again. We made an appointment for the following Monday (nearly a week after the call). However nobody ever showed up or called. I was left waiting all day with nothing to show for it. So we called Monday afternoon to see if anybody was going to come, but all we got was their voice mail system. We left a message that we were waiting for the service call and asked that they return our call. Here it Tuesday afternoon and we still have not heard back. I've called another company and have marked Mr. Furnace out of our phone book to assure we don't call them again.
