good home made food 10/14/2006

After my visit to the superb Rodolfo Valentin Salon and spa in Cedarhurst, my husband came to pick me up and we decided to have our dinner in the area. Rodolfos recommended the one around the corner from him (Mother Kelly). It is a very soho place, young-noisy with a great italian food, fresh and tasty. Pros: good italian food with a big selection Cons: waiters should be more caring more

PIZZA?? 5/29/2004

I frequently eat at Mother Kelly's when I am on the south shore. Pizza? Yeah, maybe some of the best around. However!!! - This is a full-menu restaurant with a menu filled with pages and pages of offerings, each one better than the last. And, talk about enough - I weigh almost 300 pounds, and have never been able to finish everything Mother Kelly's serves you. The food is exceptional, and comes prepared just as you like it. The owner, Glenn, is a friendly fellow, and bends over backward to make you feel at home, and welcome at the restaurant. Try the portabello tower!! Try to finish! Pros: Excellent food, Excellent variety, Very nice personnel more
