This garden is associated with the University of Pennsylvania. We have been going to Morris for over 5 years and it remains a quiet, peaceful place to hike, smell the flowers and learn something about nature. A lovely place to visit on autumn and fall afternoons. Can easily spend the entire day browsing through them. Only downside is the parking which is limited especially on busy days. more

Serene place 12/21/2005

This is one of the best natural places that I like to go in the city. This Arboretum has lots of spots for you to sit and relax. They have their train displays which are amazing to watch when they are on with those little stations. The gift shop is a nice place where you can buy nice things. It is a great place to be among friends on a beautiful day. more

One of the Top Botanical Gardens in Philly 8/18/2005

Morris Arboretum is associated with the University of Pennsylvania and features 92 acres of rare trees and beautiful flowers which is free to members of the UPenn community. Highlights of the garden include the fairy railway which is scattered miniature houses and train stations of intricate detail, the sculpture garden, the rose garden, and the swan pond. It is a lovely place to stroll around and explore on a nice day and can be quite romantic. There is also a restaurant on the premises for refreshments. more
