I don't know who Frankie L. is, but it must be the competition trying to badmouth Art because that is not the Art Moore that I have known for over 25 years. He's The Best!! He's saved me with an audit some years ago. He's removed the anguish of taxes for 4 of my friends. He's excellent, caring and efficient. His staff has always been respectful to me and provided quick service. I always recommend him highly to anyone who needs help with taxes. The worst, negligent, most awful accountant in California. Good luck trying to even get a hold of him after his negligence gets you an audit. According to the IRS, ""he causes a lot of Boo Boo's"" and I quote. DO NOT GO HERE more

Art has been our accountant now for 18 years doing our personal and business taxes; we have had no reason to use anyone else. What I like best about Art is his ability to simplify what seems complex. We'd had an audit several years ago and his staff handled it perfectly. The auditor respected their professionalism and the ordeal was over quickly. When we've needed a return done quickly, we have been obliged with fast service, once even same-day. Now regarding some of the complaints I've read here, all I can say is you get back what you put forth to others. more

Art and Steve have both prepared our taxes over the last six years. I really don't have any complaints worth mentioning about Art and Steve. However, this office unfortunately has the worst office staff! The office staff is rude, disrespectful and down right nasty. The unprofessional behavior that I saw occur last week was just ridiculous!!! I would steer clear of this place.... that's what I am planning to do from now on. more

I have been using Art for more than 20 years and have had total faith in him to trust my filing in taxes. They have always been able to help me in all my tax needs. even during auditing they were top notch professionals. I wouldn't go anywhere else. !!!! more

Allow for them to put at least ten errors on your return which you will then have to pay again a cpa firm who will then say 'THEY SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING BUSINESS AT ALL.' The risk 'GETTING AUDITED and then if the irs goes back several years (when they see their errors); you will then be charged for THEIR ERROR WITH INTEREST. It's like a time clock 'START.' Your off to the races. There they GO SWEEPING IN AS MUCH MONEY FOR THEMSELVES AS THEY CAN, not giving a - - - - about anyonelse. this office is not a friendly customer...I called many times and no one ever calls you back..no one ever pick up the phone!!! Hell! Cons: No one will pick the fon till your eyes turn to white,nothings happen! more

I have used Arthur T. Moore's Tax Preparation for over 15 years and recommended them to friends and business associates. They have always been courteous and helpful. If I call them on April 15th, they tend to be a bit busy, but even then they always get back to me. They are very good at what they do. We dropped off our tax preparation paperwork to Art Moore in late February. Tomorrow is April 15th. In the last week, we have called his office 5 times, and stopped by once, to find out when our taxes will be complete. No one has responded, nor do they seem to care or know where our return is located! Just this morning, the receptionist told me in a curt, rude tone, ""We have 3 stacks of paperwork to go through. I don't know where your paperwork is. Someone will call you when we find it."" Since no one contacted me, I called again this evening and was told, ?Mr. Moore has over 3000 customers, so he'll get to it when he gets to it.""
