Dearest Mon Amie,How do I began from start to finish my journey to find the perfect dress was a most troubling state. However, upon reading that your company was going to donate over 150 dresses to military wives I just couldn' t believe my ears. Throughout the whole day I was so nervous everything seemed like a fairy tale cinderella finally going to the ball and with the prince of my dreams. They called my name for a free bouquet and flowers, and all of sudden I won my wedding book and book extra's as well. It was turning out great, than they called number 58 and it was me, I smiled looked to my Godmother," The words that came to my lips were God is blessing me with everything that I needed.'" We go back to make a dash to dresses there were only two in my size the disappointment was never there just determination. The dress I picked was to small , before all hope was lost a lady smaller than me tried on a dress that had been my dream dress for years. When she tried it on it would not fit, boy was I happy so she gave it up and I tried it on. Me and my Godmother got me in the dress and when I approached the mirror to look at myself tears rolled down my eyes. Mon Amie had given me my dream, my cinderella dress, never had I seen anything so wonderful. The wedding day came, but the nervousness was making its way up my spine the whole day. Everytime I looked at my dress, my soul knew that cinderella was finally going to the ball with a happy ending. My girls all came over and got dressed then preceded to get me dress what an experience between the tears and the laughter we were a mess. After turning my room key the road to happiness was on the way. I arrived at Lindo park a bag of nerves because for once I was not watching a wedding and admiring the bride, I was the bride. After the vows were spoken and the tears were shed we walked hand in hand, down the aisle to forever. A few weeks later we developed the pictures and thanks to Mon Amie cinderella had the perfect wedding day. I wanted to thank you for not on more

My dress was the Ines Di Santo "Maria" gown in the Mermaid style....it truly was my DREAM dress. I put it on and just knew it was meant for me! Having that gorgeous gown made my dream wedding a reality - I recieved countless compliments and felt gorgeous all night! My veil, earrings and flower hair piece also from Mon Amie completed my dream wedding look. Thank You Mon Amie for making my day amazing! more

To the Mon Amie Bridal Salon, The dress I received during the grown give away is beyond words. Even before my family and friends saw me in my dress the response I got made me come to tears. I married the man of my dreams on August 1, 2009 at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, CA. Being a Plus-Size Bride I was afraid I didn't have many choices for dresses and was extremely nervous coming to Mon Amie. I was more than pleasantly surprised with what an incredible experience I had and I found my "Dream Dress." Virginia was my sales consultant and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Lupe did my alterations and she was amazing as well. I shopped quite a bit for dresses and nothing compared to the experience I had with Mon Amie. I got married to the love of my life just about 2 months ago. It was the very best day of my life. Even though those few little things fell threw the cracks, like they always do, my husband and I got through it together. We got married at the Long Beach Museum of Art, overlooking the ocean, on a clear day, at sunset. We could not have asked for a better day. Andrew asked me to marry him in London just over a year ago, and that year went by fast! So many people to meet with, shops to look in, appointments to hold, food to taste, and addresses to get. But the first and easiest thing I did was find my dress. My mom, sister and I walked into your store, was greeted right away by a friendly associate, and I began to try on dresses. It did not take too long to figure out what shape I liked best on me, and the fact that the designer of the dresses I liked best was in the store that day to help, was a god send. He knew exactly what dresses to put on me, and even what color would work best in pictures! And he was right. I choose a Stephan Yearick gown in platinum and I could not have been happier with how it turned out. The seamstress did an amazing job making it fit perfectly to my body. The dress was easy to move around in, easy to sit in, and it looked so great next to my bridesmaids, who were wearing cranberry. I received so many compliments on it. My experience with Mon Amie and their staff was incredible. When I was searching for my wedding dress I found this beautiful Lazaro white lace dress in the window. It was my very first day looking at dresses and I feel in love with it as soon as I tried it on. My mother was in tears when she saw me! I loved the personal attention I was give from the very beginning. The seamstress was especially helpful throughout my fittings as well. I ended picking out the jewelry, shoes, headband, mantia and even added a piece of jewels to the waist to accentuate the dress. Everyone was so helpful from start to finish and I am grateful because as every bride knows, planning a wedding is stressful work. My wedding dress was amazing and I was lucky enough to get the first one in this design! I could not have dreamt for a more perfect dress and experience for myself and my husband. Thank you! more

My name is Chelsea Goff and I was one of your military brides during your event back in 2007. My now husband was deployed in Afghanistan at the time with the Army. Mon Amie still is very close to my heart as I first did not know about the event and happened to call while the event was going on. Mon Amie staff (granddaughter of the owner helped me try on dresses!) and stayed open late while I picked out my gown. more

It was truly a wonderful experience working with the staff at Mon Ami as we looked for my perfect dress...little did I know it would end being the very first one I tried on!! I couldn't wait to get to wear the most beautiful dress I'd ever seen as I walked down the aisle to my husband-to-be. My mother, sister, and myself visited Mon Amie a month before the actual wedding day on a quest for accessories and such. Little did we know that the gown of my dreams was in there waiting for me to try her on. Please note that I was actually having my gown made, but the seamstress had not started cutting into the material yet. Also, before Mon Amie, I had not entered a bridal boutique once since my engagement on Christmas. To make a long story short, as I passed through the first aisle of gowns, there it was, a beautiful, unique, Amy Michelson breath of heaven gown. I owe it all to my sister, Jolina who was the first to eye the gown and quickly brought it to my attention. With the magnificent gown in my arms, Belle came to my aide to assist in me in trying on my very first fitting of a wedding gown and it was nothing less than breathtaking! And when they have the much anticipated bride walk passed the window to let the sunlight hit the gown and the timeless expression of the bride's face, while hearing gasps of amazement from strangers and finally when they see you, your awaiting family members... timeless! Gloria, the seamstress at Mon Amie, was so gracious and so very helpful, as well as Belle, that this was one of the least stressful events leading up to my wedding day. I thank you with such enthusiasm for the most wonderful experience in purchasing one of the most major and most cherished moments in a woman's life. Before hearing about Mon Amie, I visited several other bridal salons and couldn't find the dress or the customer service I was seeking. A friend told me about Mon Amie and your wide selection of gowns. From my very first visit through my final fitting appointment, the customer service was top-notch and the quality of the products and services was very impressive. I was a military bride who came to your event in 2004 and received my free wedding dress. I loved my dress so much! Nathan was deployed overseas in the Navy when we were engaged. I was worried about the budget we had for the wedding, yet I was very excited to shop for a dress. When I heard about Mon Amie's Military Bride Wedding Dress Giveaway... I thought, "No way!". It was the perfect solution. It gave me something to be excited and stress-free about, which helped me take my mind off of my fiance being on a boat all the way across the world. I went to this store first and foremost. I had heard from friends that they had a really large selection of dresses and accessories to choose from. They employees were so helpful! I brought in photos detailing what I wanted, and they came back with a bunch of dresses identical to what I was looking for!!! The price range is wide, so can spend a little or a lot. Great location which is really close to the freeway too. more

Mon Amie has the best service for brides. They are very helpful in choosing the perfect dress. I explained the type of dress I wanted and they would bring in groups of dresses matching my description. They also suggest dress that I may not have thought of but are good for my body type. Each room is very private with large mirrors. They have a variety of price ranges, including designer dresses. So, they can fit almost any budget. They carry a line of accessories too. Probablly the best customer service in a bridal shop. more
