Mon Amie has a large selection of elegant and sophisticated dresses. The staff are friendly and do their best to accommodate your budget. They do nickle and dime their way and will try to upsell you. The veils and jewelry are overpriced, and alterations and dry cleaning (charged seperately) are expensive. However, their dress selection is lovely. I'm a tall girl (6'2") and selected a silk gown from Amy Michelson of which I actually had to hem. more

I got my dress at Mon Amie bridal outlet and couldn't have been happier! They opened the outlet to brides for dresses off the rack at huge savings! My dress was perfect, and I felt like a princess. They did a perfect job on my alterations, were ontime with everything, and listened to me with all the changes I wanted done on the dress. Thank you! more

Finding my dress was probably the easiest part of wedding planning...and I owe it to Mon Amie's customer service and dedication. I went by myself (which I would recommend to any bride!) to Mon Amie on Saturday and my consultant listened to what I wanted and delivered! She brought me 10 dresses that fit my criteria and we slowly narrowed it down to two and then finally, the one! She was patient and not pushy at all. She let me decide and gave me really honest feedback. She also wasn't insisting I buy the most expensive dress - she made sure I felt good about the dress I was wearing, which I thought was great. I ended up spending 1/5 of what I budgeted and absolutely LOVED my dress. Although Costa Mesa is a bit of a drive from Santa Monica, I would recommend Mon Amie to any bride! more

I purchased a Pronovias dress from Mon Amie off the rack. They cleaned it and repaired it to restore it to "new" quality before I started my fittings. What I liked is that I asked my salesperson not to bring me any dresses that were out of my price range so that I wouldn't be tempted to spend more than I could afford and she didn't. I absolutely loved my dress and it fit beautifully. They have a great selection and dresses in all price ranges. more

Planning a wedding in my hometown of Houston while living in Los Angeles was no easy task. Thankfully, finding my perfect gown was not so difficult. After reading rave reviews on CitySearch, I decided to check out Mon Amie. The store happened to be having a trunk show for designer Ines di Santo, and luckily the designer's daughter was there to help guide my selections. When we found THE dress, I wanted to share the experience with my parents in Texas so the store owner kindly snapped and emailed photos to them. We bought the dress that day and it was smooth sailing from there. Thanks for all of your help! more

Its really sad to see so many bad reviews. My salesperson was awesome. She stayed within my budget and was very knowledgeable. She was just awesome and she even convinced the manager to knock off more than $200 from the price tag. Let me give those of you contemplating this store a recommendation go with Natalie. Not once did I feel rushed or talked down to. Considering this is a high end store and my budget was $1000 I'm sure it would have been easy for her to be rude to me but my overall experience was what invisioned in my head. She was wonderful, give this store a chance. more

Although we both knew I wouldn't be making a purchase that night, Natalie was very patient and knew right away what type of gown would look good on my body type. She's an expert at assessing a bride's best features right off the bat and pulled gowns that would be flattering. more

This was my 4th place I went to try on dresses.. I actually had another one picked out but wanted to be sure. They were able to fit me in for an appointment the next day and once I got there they were very sweet. The girls seem professional. They kept pulling dresses for me to see and everytime I went out with a new dress all the girls kept making comments on how beautiful I looked. I actually purchased a dress that the owners daugher designed so i couldn't get it anywhere else. It was expensive but I think it will be worth the $$$. They also aren't charging me to add a biger cup size and alterations do nt sseem to be really expensive.. I'll post after if I have any complaints.. but so far they were very sweet.. They even gave me a congrats bag with lots of magazines and a hug before i walked out the door. =) more

Mon Amie has the best service for brides. They are very helpful in choosing the perfect dress. I explained the type of dress I wanted and they would bring in groups of dresses matching my description. They also suggest dress that I may not have thought of but are good for my body type. Each room is very private with large mirrors. They have a variety of price ranges, including designer dresses. So, they can fit almost any budget. They carry a line of accessories too. Probablly the best customer service in a bridal shop. more

I had the best experience at Mon Amie. They have the most beautiful gowns. We went to Mon Amie because so many of my friends bought their gowns there. The selection was fantastic and our consultant Belle was very nice. I feel good that I don't have to take my dress somewhere else to get it altered because they do it all at the store. They have beautiful accessories and we found some really nice dresses for my mother too. I can't wait till my dress comes in. They have really nice bridal shoes too the hard part is just deciding which ones are the prettiest. I think this store is really amazing! - Shela and Tom more

Dear Mon Amie, "Attached is a picture of my wedding wearing my FREE wedding gown that was just perfect! It was a wonderful day (after a little rain). My husband was deployed when I got the gown last August and he returned in February, a month before the wedding! Thank you so much for all you do to support our troops and their families. I cannot convey how wonderful it is what you do and how much it means to so many families out there. When I was there last August, I had a chance to talk to a lot of other brides and they all had different stories. So many of them said they had planned wedding after wedding only to have their fiancés deployed unexpectedly. My husband’s deployment was extended by a month, giving us only a month after he returned to finish planning the little things for the wedding. Deployments are a hard thing to deal with, especially when planning a wedding, and your event brings a little sunshine to a dreary situation. Thank you, again. It is much appreciated." I wanted to thank you again for the beautiful gown I received last Spring during the Military Bride giveaway. Although Todd and I were hoping to stop in and say thank you personally, he unfortunately was not able to stay in California long as he was accepted into Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. The second I walked into your store, I was greeted by friendly faces and helpful staff members. Nadine, the consultant who helped me with my gown that day, was an absolute jewel. HI, I just got married on Friday and wanted to thank the staff at Mon Amie for providing me with everything from my veil to my dress, to my jewelry. When I bought my Amy Michelson dress last year at Mon Amie, I actually got to meet the designer who drew a sketch of me in the gown and signed it! After that I got lots of help from your staff person, Jenny, in choosing jewelry. I also met the jewelry designer (Meg). The seamstress was amazingly talented and efficient as well. It was so special to connect with the designers and made the experience very unique and memorable. Anyway, my wedding was everything I ever dreamed about and that was thanks in large part to you. The dress (and other accessories) looked exquisite, so I wanted to share some of the pictures. I felt so beautiful and my new husband couldn’t take his eyes off me all evening!
