Well, we visited this bakery on the tentative recommendation of Mike Kahn out at Kahn's deli in the village because we were looking for someone that could bake the fabulous French...

Long-time favorite 2/21/2007

This has been a favorite of mine since childhood. I've tried other fancier, trendier bakeries that are closer to home, but I'll always go back to Moeller's. Their classic, buttery sugar cookies in animal shapes, sprinkled with bright sparkly colored sugar (the green dinosaurs are my favorite) are as delightful and delicious now as when I was a small child, and their delicately beautiful, melt-in-your mouth petit fours are a special treat that will really give a party table the ""wow"" factor. Horrible Service! 2/18/2007

I have been going to this bakery for a couple of years now. The items are good, but I have always been very disappointed with the service. I have often seen the servers rolling there eyes at the customers and It seems that placing an order is a chore. Even though the baked items are good, I would rather goo to a bakery where the service is great. The service is 50% of the product sold. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! more

The best ever...... 2/17/2004

My family and I have delighted in Moeller's delicious fare for over 60 years. Their cakes and cookies are still the best I have found anywhere. Some of their offerings have come and gone over the years but one thing has remained constant --and that is their quality - no better tasting, moister cake to be had, and if you have any left over, (which is rare) it freezes beautifully. more

Like one of the previous reviewers said -- the strawberry cake is amazing. But even more amazing than that would be their white cake. It literally melts in your mouth. You can get it in the normal cake, or even better their petit-fours. They make these fresh every day and serve them after 3:00 p.m. Well worth the trip!!! more

This place is awesome. They have the freshest cakes and cookies. Everything is made in the bakery, none of the frozen stuff. Get the lemon Chifon cake! Pros: great food, birthday cakes Cons: not open sunday, old building more

yummy Strawberry cake 8/9/2002

Their strawberry cake with white icing is the best ever! I wish they had more than one bakery closer to our house. I would choose to go here for any occasion that deserves a special treat! more
